I use an mp3 player, cause I didn't hear a smartphone with clear sound. I think it's because post-processing in OS. still, my phone needs a3,5 jack. cause I don't want another device that I need to charge like headphones. too many chargers at home, to much shit
LG superfan, 10 Dec 2017Sure I can but there storage really limited and I would need to carry to phones so NoThen you have to set with new era where headphone jack wont be existed.
okcnaline, 11 Dec 2017Bugger off. Are you a blind mice? Forced to use this, forced to that...
Battery and camera... moreBut it does. Read razer comments from CEo why there wasnt any headphone jack.
That person said they added to this space 500 mAh battery.
So having bigger batteryis always better than having stupid hole in a phone whic is as useless as laser sight on a slinger.
okcnaline, 11 Dec 2017Wireless isn't freedom. Having choice is freedom. If you don't know what freedom means then do... moreWireless is freedom. Because cables obstruct you from working on anything else.
Having choices means possibilities and options but freedom is without any cables.
Cedric the Sorcerer, 12 Dec 2017Haha, maybe it will happen in some years to come. Unless there is a promo, hehehe.
Btw whil... moreAgree.
I never used headphones included in box of my phone they are still opacked as brand new even after 2 and half years.
My favorite headphones uses 3.5mm jack.. And I use it to plug into my phone, my handheld console, my laptop, my desktop etc.. And no I don't want any dongle out of my phone.. 3.5mm jack is universal and should be included in any phone if it is to be called a "smartphone"
I definitely recommend 3.5mm jack, as Bluetooth drains battery for both mobile and headset. Its must have feature, makers don't think to drop this feature.
UltimateZeroSeconds, 11 Dec 2017How about Sony MDR1000x? Is it amazing? http://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/sony-mdr-1000xNo it's not & you can have that packed & wired for 50$.
I support 3.5 mm jack.
okcnaline, 11 Dec 2017Wireless isn't freedom. Having choice is freedom. If you don't know what freedom means then do... moreThis, and also, having to charge (Yea, "wireless"...until it isn't) yet another device/carry yet another charger/device is total slavery. Not to mention the inevitable replacement due to battery degradation.
Wired is freedom in this case. Unless you have to carry usb dongles.
AnonD-441601, 10 Dec 2017Man you never know maybe they include bluetooth earphones in the box. Haha, maybe it will happen in some years to come. Unless there is a promo, hehehe.
Btw while I do appreciate and vote for 3.5mm jack, the truth is I always play media contents loud and clear through loudpeaker. Even in FM radio, the earphones only serve as antenna and then I switch to loudspeaker. If I'm in a public place, then I just refrain from playing media contents.
Results showed, a BIG YES! Wireless earphones are expensive, for cheaper ones, their batteries don't last a day.
ofcourse i use jack.
Every day. I use my wired IEM's at work and i'm connecting my audiphile grade headphones to an AMP/DAC at home when i don't want to be a dick to my neighbours and spouse.
AnonD-441601, 10 Dec 20173,5 is all that block the way to freedom. Wireless is freedom. Wireless isn't freedom. Having choice is freedom. If you don't know what freedom means then don't talk about it.
I for sure prefer to have the 3.5mm jack, though I can live without it if I have to.
AnonD-441601, 10 Dec 2017Man 20 years ago there wasn't any jack and now there will be any and i am glad for that.
We ... moreBugger off. Are you a blind mice? Forced to use this, forced to that...
Battery and camera does not interfere with space needed for a headphone jack. For all I care, solder it onto the damn motherboard!!!
Onyxia, 10 Dec 2017I'm still using the 3.5mm audio jack. But I think I will be switching to a bluetooth earphone ... morePeople who can afford a $999 phone can afford an audiophile pair of... Wait... People who are going to buy those trashy Samsungs or iPhone 8 (not X) are going to buy Beats because "cool". Never mind...
