According my deduce, if the people heights is 185cm the phone weight should be below 185g... to have the golden balance weight to holding the Phone. Yet anything have vary from person to person and it is also depends on the material of used and the shape designs maybe also the personal desires.
its a excellent phone
Anonymous, 12 Dec 2017A very beautiful phoneThough the beauty came at a price...of heavy weight (185g for a 4.5 incher!).
*Samsung galaxy s6 did not bend.*
However, its less popular (less sold?) sibling s6 EDGE did bend. And really easily at that. Hence the name s6 mentioned in the article. Here's an excerpt from an article conforming the same:
"The new Galaxy S6 Edge will bend to the point that it is permanently deformed when applied with 110 pounds of pressure, according to a test conducted by mobile insurance company SquareTrade Labs. That's the same 110 pounds of pressure that it takes to bend and deform the iPhone 6 Plus -- the subject of last fall's infamous "Bendgate" controversy."
Dear Gsmarena, can you make an article about phones exploding through the years?
People should learn the champions in this catecory...
This will be a more important article of course.
On the other hand one good reason I am using mostly feature phones is because
these basic phones are really lightweight and convenient at the hand and pockets.
So it is very probable to purchase Nokia 3310 3G.
Otherwise I am going to wait for Nokia to announce some new feature phones.
Anyway GsmArena some of your articles are interesting.

I honestly would rather see carbon fiber or some new hi tech composite that some people make that can merge any materials like wood, fiber, metals together rather than steel. Especially when we pay more and more for devices every year.
Some of those composite like wood-plastic normally are made for furnitures/floors, but I saw few examples of more denser/better quality samples and its amazing its feel like wood but is stiff like carbon fiber.
There is also lots of methods to merge metal and other materials together so you could have thinner metal body inside but cover it wit any material you want and they will be fused together better than pain so you can abuse it and it will keep it shape and look.
Just imagine all those cool materials that will customize our devices. I would love to have phone that is stiff as metal one but have external texture of wood without its disadvantages(easy to damage)
AnonD-441601, 10 Dec 2017But yes it does. Jerry rigs everything. Chceck our Zac how he bending the phones. Lol I watch his channel, and if you're telling me that a phone being physically bent by a man, is the same as a phone being bent by being in a trouser pocket then your mad. Every phone on his channel bends to a certain extent, you can't keep pointing people to jerryrigeverything, when he's using his hand to bend phones, don't get me wrong I love his channel.
i think phones over 150g feel heavy. around that or under feel ok and a good weight. A bigger battery used to play a part in weight years ago but that doesnt seem to be as much a case as it was. lighter phones to me do feel better to hold especially for long periods of time.
S6 regular was build like a rock, didint even creak when you bend, not same for edge variant, cause of bend screen, my S6 still in immaculate condition, very hood phone still in today's standards, just a battery life is not good
Somewhat ironically, unless "plastic" and "elastic" are now the same word, what "the word suggests" is exactly the opposite of "quickly returns back to its original shape". Actually, plastic deformation is exactly what happens to the metal phones we are talking about...

[deleted post]We are astounded when someone purchases the "latest and greatest iPhone ever".
Because he got a lot of ₹₹₹ for a phone, that is similar to ours, in terms of basic functionality.
[deleted post]Yes, you are right. Country like Africa, Liberia, Ethiopia, Madagascar and Afghanistan also love Apple. They have the biggest sales in iphone X. These people are so rich.
