Copying iphone is hardly a major feat, Apple themselves just sit back and copy other companies so copying them is just following the main stream in truth. The Iphone X was basically just throwing out old features like wireless charging and bezelless screen that others had done ages ago. Copying an industry chaser is again, just chasing the industry. A few design features here and there is a small thing in comparison

Seriously, you can't say that Xiaomi copied Apple just because their future phone will have a dual cameras setup like the iPhone X. And FYI, iPhone X don't have a fingerprint scanner in the back.

The iPhone X is a blatant ripoff of the original Mi Mix (1). Apple didn't want to move the camera to the bottom and change the speaker, so they added that notch. If you want to accuse others of ripping of Apple then be honest and admit that the iPhone X ripped off the Mi Mix's design.

the first gen was cool, then the second gen is nothing special when many bezel-less phones out there, Mix3 should have something awesome to keep people buying it.

It's obvious a copy of the LG P920 Optimus 3D, which had it's dual camera setup already like this January 2011. Apple also is just dirt cheap copycats, doing the same on their X.
