This could be a winner! Lumix cameras are awesome these days, to see this in a phone is a great idea, it's almost odd it has not been done before...

Between the Nokia and this Panasonic, there might seem to be not much difference. But if you are talking purely in term of camera, I have never seem a digital camera with Nokia's name on it, unless it is a GENUINE knockoff maybe from China -- neither a N8 series.
Hey, if you're in the Formula 1 race club, might as well bring a Pontiac Grand Prix, or your SEAT car with you in the ring.

Any one know if this phone is going to be a dumb or smart phone? If the latter, what OS will it use? Probably Android, my guess...

why bother reviewing this phone when it is going to be available only in japan. japanese phone cannot compete in the world market. they are too expensive. look at sony ericsson.

it might be personal taste, but panasonic and sony cameras always take noisy pictures. I remember having a Canon Sd760is and i compared it to a friend's semi pro sony. And we both took a picture of a banner about 100 meters away without zoom. and when we checked on the image i was able to read the banner from My camera and she was not able to read from hers.
Not saying the N8 is better than the panasonic, but i doubt very much it will be a big difference, unless you have Parkinson disease in which case the mega OIS will help you out.
