I myself was of this opinion because I have used many LG products in past. But in case of this Bootloop issue with LG phones, the way LG has handled it and still handling it, is not what the customers expect. It does not seem logical (and I am not alone there are lot many others) to ask customers to pay up to rectify a manufacturing defect in Nexus 5x.

This is a very good mobile in terms of spec. Hitting all the right ticks including price. Hope they address some of the software issues (I never owned one so far, willing to change if they make honest attempts).
My experience with LG Monitor which has some vertical lines but got fixed two times in 2 plus years under three years warranty free of cost. My LG TV for four plus years doing fine. Hence I don't take the quality issues as a major concern so long they offer extended warranty for their mobiles.
This seems to be a great device, though I had bought Note 8 few days back. LG delayed their launch for some reason

Well, the phone looks great with cool specs. In general, the LG phones are good. But, their after sales service is something which leaves you wanting more. look at how LG handled the issue of "Bootloop" that affected many of their phones including the Google - LG Nexus 5X. Inspite of acknowledging that its a defect in the phone, LG is charging for the motherboard replacement cost from customers to fix this issue. The lame excuse they give is that the phone is out of warranty so the customer have to pay up for the motherboard replacement cost. This is just not expected from a company like LG.

LOL at all the LG haters, fanboys and brand loyalists. Bunch of mindless sheep the lot of you.
I loved my Note 7 and kept it even when batteries were exploding. Why? Because it was a damn good phone. The V30 is an amazing phone. Period. No one gives a damn about front cameras unless your a school girl or on Instagram. The Note 8 has a better screen but it's not in a different tier to the V30, it's just bigger.
Plus who watches their phone/shares their phone because of the viewing angles? I can't even notice the blue hue! So many moot arguments, it's not even funny. Let's talk about the elongated shape of the Note 8 though and how many people I've seen with cracked screens because the phone is both comical to hold and look at?
I don't give a damn about bootloops in the past, not one person has reported the V30 bootlooping. Lastly all the people crying you didn't get the V30 earlier, that's not grounds for disliking a phone. Hate the company, but the V30 with its stellar Quad DAC that's on par with mid/high end DAPs, sturdy military grade build proven in drop tests, amazing manual camera mode and useful wide angle lens (review using only auto mode is a joke!) and everything a 2017 flagshop should have is simply one of the, if not best options right now.

Glad LG launched it at this price but can we say it is good? No, instead let's do the following:
1) Dig Boot-loop history
2) Make comparison with OnePlus or wish lesser price
3) Nit pick over anything
But, will anyone appreciate an all rounder at this price, no way! World is only filled with Samsung and Apple who have unfortunately given others opportunity to price a phone close to 1000$
I mean seriously, for a phone?

V30 is the second best of 2017 after iPhone XBut it's useless if it's NOT available...
LG V30 (and now this...) is NOT yet available in most (if not ALL) SouthEast Asian countries.
You can pre-order though... but there's no ETA yet.

LG is a company that i don't trust anymore.
My trust issues with LG are because of the bootloop problems i had with my LG G4, LG G5 and even LG V10.
I'll wait 2,3 years and see if they resolved this problems.
Before anybody says that LG resolved their bootloop problems, please note that is what they said before and the bootloop problems start 1 year after purchase (Maybe this is the LG strategy - buy new LG phone every year)

LG phone division totally failed when it comes to Thailand.
No new product since G5 and problematic G3 / G4 mainboard issues that LG refuse to take responsibility screwing over ten of thousands of customers.
I could never get excited for LG phone products ever again.
