It would have been vastly better for Xiaomi to release a 'PRO' version of the Mi A1 with 6.0" screen still in 16:9 aspect ratio and with 4100mAh battery. It will sell like hotcakes.

must have for the next mia2 or mia1s :- quick charge 4.0, 4000mah+, 18:9, dual front cam+dedicated front flash, dedicated microsd card slot, eis, snap 660 or 636 @ the same price and its gonna make xiaomi most profitable mobile company of the year 2018.

I thought the red color was because of the Red Foundation, but that's ok.
And red phones are trend this year, it's nice that a manufacturers are releasing affordable models with this color.
