In my office, someone was talking about rack servers, 2U rack servers, and 1U racks. I was listening to them very quietly. As I am an engineer but I didn't know about it before. I came back to my home and searched for it. Then I found myself so dumb. I have to purchase a 2u rack server. Even though I have seen from here https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/d/servers-storage/2u-rack-servers/ but I want more options.
Can anyone suggest me?
hey all,
i want to buy a gaming laptop, i am not a pc guy till date, and i don't know how to pick the best configuration gaming laptop, i heard earlier that, for gaming, a good graphic card is needed, and my friend suggest me to buy a intel arc gaming laptop, i want to buy a lenovo laptop with intel arc graphic card, beacuse my earlier experience with lenovo is too good, i visited lenovo website and found there this link for intel arc : https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/faqs/intel/intel-graphics/ , but am not able to make a decision right now to go with intel arc or not. please help me.

Rather buy Predator X-21 :-)
Best notebook of 2017 and first with a curved screen.

Finally! A true portable machine with good performance. Thank you Intel and OEMs!
Light, slim, good build quality, thin bezels (small footprint), quad-core CPU and a large battery.
Gigabyte, with the new Aero and its 90+Wh battery also is an option. And the Asus S510UNR and the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro are good competition, with their 15,6" screen and a dedicated NVIDIA MX150 GPU, for those who need more graphics power.

I would buy this all day over the ridiculous looking Notebook 9. But what I would like even more is a MacBook Pro. But guys, that's just my personal opinion, LG Gram and MacBook Pro are great, Notebook 9 not so much.

Learn to read thoroughlyMobileMark2014 is also one of those tools used by manufactures, which "runs a series of local applications but requires that your laptop be connected to a router but disconnected from the Internet" (source: https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/laptop-makers-exaggerate-battery-life), to make those unrealistic claims. Turn on the internet and use it for video streaming and set the brightness to a comfortable level (not that dim, can barely see level) and you'll more likely get around 10-12 hours at best.
"Normal use" should be where one is connected to the Internet doing things like video streaming and social media at around 200nits. Windows laptop manufacturers' definition of "normal use" is setting screen to bare minimum brightness while reloading he same page over and over again or watching the same video over and over again.

moerutoukon, 15 Dec 2017You can see the character "gram" clearly on the top board. I do not think that design is beautiful.Indeed. I wonder how sales will work out in Germany, where "Gram" is an actual word meaning "sadness" or "grief"...
Been interested in this laptop since their first gen. Will be looking forward to this revision if I need a new laptop. Having a huge 15.6" laptop for just 1kg is awesome.
Anonymous, 14 Dec 2017Samsung notebook 9 or LG gram !?Definitely the Samsung notebook 9 for more functionality. Unless you take the body factor as your biggest configuration
You can see the character "gram" clearly on the top board.

What smoke did you used LG?
22.5hrs? Lol, that's probably with your screen set to minimum brightness while having your wireless turned off or using wireless but loading the same website over and over again but no videos, which is nowhere near normal use. It'll probably get 10-12 hours at best when in normal use.
Windows laptop manufacturers love to make exaggerated claims on battery life, but almost always fall short. The only brand I know which makes pretty accurate claims on laptop battery life is Apple (although I don't like Apple as a brand).

Look at Samsung Notebook cost much more over 1000 and only 2GB of GPU.
Rest of the specs also not good.
