Am I the only one wondering what is the definition of "Compact" in this list? Screen size varies from 4.6" to 5.8"... 5.8"?!?! Compact??? Seriously?

Only iPhone 8 and Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact are truly compact flagship phones in here.
Samsung S8, LG G6 and the rest of smartphones utopia should not be in compact series at all. It is an insult to those phones.
IPhone and Xperia should retain 4.6/4.7 inch display but must reduce the bezels or even better, to get it bezelless entirely.
Compact doesn't meant only pocketable, flagship grade spec in a compact body, and ability for single handed uses only. The screen should be lower than 5 inch since we have tons of big screen phones nowadays.

I struggle to see how a 5.2 inch phone is "compact" when the iPhone SE is still on the market.

Sony Xperia XZ1 compact, that is a real compact phone by todays standards. So my vote is for the Xperia.

Haha wtf are you people smoking? Since when did phablets become compact? Either the fanboys had too much influence in this poll, or people went insane. Trends are changing for worse, and people blindly accept them. 150+ mm in size, that's not suitable for single handed use, and yet it keeps increasing.

Smaller flagships weren't even called "compact" until Sony named theirs that, as the matter of fact different sized multiple flagships didn't even exist until they did it. There's only one true compact here.
