I would be interested to a S8+ successor only by a phone with such small bezels but 16:9 screen format.

While I really don't like the color and texture, the shape is an upgrade, although nowhere as nice as the previously leaked renders.

I like it, way better than IphoneX'/other ones display cuts and round corners. May be cool at start, but in the end it just eats content. Will wait for real leak to be happy though.

[deleted post]I gotta ask: In today's world of damn-near-bezel-less smartphones, with no real room for design differences, what are you expecting? Sony's the only company left in the "smartphone game" to provide aesthetically different looking devices with their OWN character/design (it goes by the names of OmniBalance, Loop Design, "Sony industrial design", you get the idea). Most other manufacturers jumped on either the Apple ship (for ex. Xiaomi, the Apple of China), or the Samsung ship (LG, Asus, Oppo, Vivo... should I go on?). The few other manufacturers that DID do something different design-wise (Nokia is an example), are usually overshadowed by the plethora of Samsung-style devices. Others, like Huawei, don't make their designs *that* much different...

It will be great if they can implement technology from their OLED A1E TV. Display sound. Will be ground breaking! And then you'll not need dual front facing speakers.
Hope to keep the design without rounding the corners as Apple and Samsung. Just little thinner bezels than XZP, little smaller form factor. And improve low light camera performance.
Then you'll get my money gladly.

If this render was the final design, it would definitely be an improvement over their current horrible-looking phones (in my opinion). Then again, the starting point to improve from is so low (a generic brick), pretty much every change design-wise could be counted as such. Especially removing those gigantic top and bottom bezels. :-)
