I was hoping the processor would be more powerful, closer in line to the exynos 7420. Plus no ois again even though. My current a5 2016 has it. I know most. Mid rangers lack ois but doesn't it make the camera less reliable and supcetible to shakes ?.. Any a5 2017 ownerrs..... How does cameras perform without ois.

AnonD-724730, 21 Dec 2017Why still they are giving 3000mAh for 5.6 inch(A8) Phone. A5 2017 also having same size battery.3000mAh is standard for these smartphones
Dont compare these with xiaomi or ouikitel or gionee
Because those phones has less power sufficient chipset
So the battery life is the same

TheLostWanderer, 20 Dec 2017S7 will probably be around the same price at 2018, so that's an option. There is a reason why I did not upgrade to the A-Series 2017. They destroyed the beautiful box shape with minimal curves and adopted the S-Series shape of super curves at the edge that just makes the phone look ugly. With A-Series 2018, they have reverted back to the rectangle shape with minimal curves on the edges. So the S7 is not an option. I just hate the curves on the S-Series. Right now S7 Edge is going for $480 in my country but I won't go anywhere near that phone due to the huge curves. The A-Series makes you feel like you have some mini-Note. OIS is there in the A7-2016. Why Samsung removed it on the 2017 version and not including it on the 2018 version disturbs me.

Do they expect people to spend flagship money on phones that make them look like they can't afford flagships?
