This looks beautiful to me. Hope there is no big cameras hump at the back.
Well that's a fail.Mediocre battery, same cpu, could lack the 3.5mm jack...and yet it will be much more expensive than the 8.
Anonymous, 20 Dec 2017It's starting to look like a Galaxy S8 lol That photo is not Nokia 9 bro look carefully!!! It's Nokia 8+. Look at that boxy design and dual front camera!!! It shares with the Nokia 3 design language.
[deleted post]don't mention the word "pray", it ain't fitting your "garbage" personality, you keep saying low income when we all know you work in the same place that I do, as well as the others with UD{0 and P@YW IDs, s2pd a-hole
AnonD-715715, 19 Dec 2017Wait for nokia 9.. It will surely offer better performance and maybe a better camera tooHow it's still using the same chipset as the Nokia 8 and all the other flagship Android phones.
Homer-Simpson, 19 Dec 2017Question: What do you recommend me? Buy a Samsung Galaxy S8 now or wait for the Nokia 9?Get the S8 great phone and it's selling at a decent price right now or the S9 which will release months later if you really want the SD845.
It's starting to look like a Galaxy S8 lol
It's shaping up to be a good contender for 2018 flagships. Hope it'll be readily available as i might actually pick one up.
I think I am going back to nokia.
Avovymous, 19 Dec 2017so let me get this clear, you want Nokia (or some other brand) to follow what Samsung and Huaw... moreI think that is what Nokia intend to. Android market is very saturated. Thay cant make another phone without something to set apart from the crowd. They are new (HMD) so they cant make any RnD yet. So they make a sturdy smartphone instead because it is very uncommon in the mid-to-low segment. And i believe that they believe there is some people dont mind about some $40-50 more expensive phone but getting a better quality, which Nokia has mad a calculation for sure.
This is fake as hell. The lockscreen is not a vanilla Android. And the design i believe came from Lumia 930(?). No Nokia logo on the right top corner as well.
But i really want Nokia reuses Nokia N9 design, make it slimmer, using metal, make it bigger a bit and trim the bezel.
AnonD-450518, 19 Dec 2017You must be kidding Nokia 9! Snapdragon 835 & 5MP front facing camera in 2018 is more like... moreso let me get this clear, you want Nokia (or some other brand) to follow what Samsung and Huawei are doing, getting their phones bigger and copying specs from one phone to another? and if they do follow the steps of another brand, you say they are copycats? wew, typical wannabe-tech expert
a lot of people trashed Nokia 5 and 6 for their specs and prize compared to Xiaomi and Samsung's mid-ranged phone, but what happened? N5 and N6 durability and performance made its way to users, you judge some things too early boy, way too early
if you are a phone geek, you'll want to wait until s9 and nokia 9 are released. If you love your pocket and understand that a phone from 2016 is absolutely great in 2018, go get it.
You must be kidding Nokia 9! Snapdragon 835 & 5MP front facing camera in 2018 is more like a regression than a progression, only 0.2" added on an OLED instead of Nokia 8's 5'3" LCD display is a joke & could only take sales away from Nokia 8 for a few more new customers. But no real fans will upgrade to Nokia 9, I am disappointed again & hoped something good was coming to Nokia 9 2018.
Homer-Simpson, 19 Dec 2017Question: What do you recommend me?
Buy a Samsung Galaxy S8 now or wait for the Nokia 9?if nokia replace SD835 to SD845

Homer-Simpson, 19 Dec 2017Question: What do you recommend me?
Buy a Samsung Galaxy S8 now or wait for the Nokia 9?I know a little about the Galaxy S8 because I was testing it in a mall and I liked it a lot, but the Nokia 9 is a mystery for me because I am very attracted to its camera Carl Zeiss. On the other hand the Galaxy carries an Exynos chipset and the Nokia the SD 835, which goes better ?.
And the HMD update policy seems very good compared to Samsung.
Homer-Simpson, 19 Dec 2017Question: What do you recommend me? Buy a Samsung Galaxy S8 now or wait for the Nokia 9?Galaxy S8 & wait for second to third generation of the new Nokia range IMHO
All of the options that I do want:
Flat metal back panel, sharp frame, JOLED instead P-Oled by LG or Amoled by Samsung (IGZO Sharp was good choice too) flat screen (16:9), 3781mAh battery and some more..
As much of a famed company Nokia is in the mobile industry, I'd tread carefully when getting a Nokia phone. I think they're easing their way into the flagship realm and being that they're in their infancy with Android phones, they'll likely wait a few years before pulling out all the stops with a top tier flagship device. Would really love them make a return to US carriers like AT&T and Verizon, their name alone attracts a lot of positive attention.
