AnonD-83963, 20 Dec 2017The generous chipset they provided with redmi note 3 gave Xiaomi it's fame, in India at least.... morewell, the succesor of that 650/652 is the 660,and by no means will you see a 200 usd phone with that chipset.i thnik mi note 3 is one of the best smartphones price/performance right now, maybe the best of 2017.

WTF Xiaomi ! You're killing your self man ! Without Redmi Note 5 I bet Xiaomi sales in India drop a lots. Redmi Note 3 and 4 make Xiaomi fame and became what they are now in India, among the top phone maker. Its a foolish decision making by Xiaomi leadership either in China or India, no OEM in this world is too idiot to kill its very top and bestselling phone series. Good bye Xiaomi.

Then.... Am waiting for MI Max 3 with Bezel less design.
Expected Redmi Note5 with 6 or 6.2 inch bezel less. But......
This decision will badly effect the sale in India.... Dropping the most popular series is Suicide... Nothing else....

Bad decisions for Xiaomi by using old SD625. All fans want SD630. Xiaomi seems suside type.

Wow, such a bad move. They are over-using the SD 625. They could release the Note line with SD 636... Sad.

mi note already become cheap and dont expect sd660 for 200$ device, it is impossible for now because this cheap is as fast as sd820 (and smtimes better) and it has own drawbacks (such as battery consumption)

i think xiaomi keeps sd625 for battery usage and they did it on mi max 2 too..

Snapdragon 625 yet again.. groannnn....

Whats with Xiaomi and the SD 625? Almost ALL their non flagship phones have it. This is almost a two year old chipset now. Lame...

The generous chipset they provided with redmi note 3 gave Xiaomi it's fame, in India at least. Without them providing such an option again at that price range Xiaomi is as good as gone for the fans..

So after all Xiaomi is no longer the brand customer relay on with eyes shut. No problem waiting for motor g6 plus. It will be 660 operated, dual camera, turbo charging and affordable price.
