AnonD-3678, 22 Dec 2017who do watch netflix in pc???Pascal GPU = most control over image quality. All my movies I watch through my HTPC, else the quality to my 4k hdr tv is meh. Then again Netflix tries to lock me, so no netflix for me, much prefer to simply download the movies in full quality. Fiber optics makes it easy as pie

What the he'll with requirements? Microsoft edge, i7, Nvidia 9 or 10 series, are they high? It's no there so complicated to run HDR, definitely pass this nonsense on Windows 10

But good for you that you like the horrible ie. Btw, ie and edge is the same. Look on crash information when edge crashes, bc there you see it's ie that just crashed. No information about edge.

I use interchangeably IE, Edge and Chrome, and none of them are buggy or crashing, yet I'm on an Insider Build. And I have plenty of RAM (16GB) so that's not a problem for me either, just wanted to point it out.

Bugged, crashy and screw up files bc of a crash. Most computers and phones today have 4gb ram and up, so ram isn't a problem at all. If eu, European Union didn't screw ms up, we would still have Windows E edition. The most flawless and smooth windows without ie.

Zenodroid, 22 Dec 2017Did you really just say that Internet explorer is the best? Seriously No. I said that MS wants to make it LOOK artificially the best by paying for features to become MSXclusive.

But you must admit IE11 is not a RAM eater unlike Google's browser

What's with the intel 7th generation requirement? That is unnecessary and malicious even.

All the decoding happens on the gpu, requiring a top end cpu without actually needing it, basically trying to lock a certain percentage of the population into a given choice is begging for antitrust lawsuit.

My pascal gpu plays HDR content like it's nothing, FU Netflix for wanting me to buy a new cpu for no reason at all...

Zenodroid, 21 Dec 2017But only on Internet Explorer. Not chrome, ff, safari or opera. Off course! Microsoft pays top $$$ to Netflix to make the experience in Windows 10 and in their Internet browsers artificially the best. Microsoft desperately wants people to use their services, and Netflix just desperately needs money.
