With a 2 year upgrade cycle, and some pretty half-hearted iterative upgrades, the s9 will look dated in a years time. I'll be holding back a year, or potentially changing to another manufacturer.

What Apple is doing is not necessarly creating the best phone. Samsung got the curved edge.

Still a huge useless bezel on the... moreI think samsung might surprise us with 60 mp camera or manage to find way for finger print reader in the screen. Samsung managed the curved edge. I like to see whats up there sleeve. Apple should not be a problem.

I'm not sure if this is what yet to come, but Samsung can produce the only phone with curved edge then Samsung can be first with built in screen fingerprint reader. Note 7 battery problem must not put Samsung off.

This is exactly like the S8. The bezels haven't even shrunk. Still a huge useless bezel on the bottom for no reason whatsoever. I hate Samsung, they should just sell their screens to other brands and cease to exist. Only thing they do well.

That's why front stereo... moreThen what was the 18:9 aspect ratio, water and dust resistance, bezel-less screens and wireless charging all doing on the Samsung before the iphone? And wasn't Iphone the ones late to the party with larger phones as well? Iphone copies as much as Samsung does, that's the way the industry works somewhat, you can't leave your competition to their own devices and keep selling stuff you don't support so in that regards it's mostly about just getting out of the gate first with useful tech (which as seen above, Samsung has done better than iphone lately) and if you can create something unique (like when apple had siri earlier than others) it's about keeping it unique.
Sadly siri is a dime a dozen in the age of digital assistants nowadays and it's not the smartest either, at least Samsung still has the best implementation of bezel-less screens (debatable but for me the edge screen looks nice and works) which is way better than paying over the top for iphones latest catch up phone. The main features of the iphone 8 and x was wireless charging (old feature), bezel-less screen (old feature) and face ID (semi useful feature but replaces already tried and tested and easy systems of accessing a phone). I don't feel getting into my phone 1 or 2 seconds earlier justifies the crap pace and minimal advancement apple is making lately. Apple suck at the moment.

Looks nice, but i sure they will charge too much. Might as well go for a8 or diffetent brand now.
