imRGZ, 24 Dec 2017Compact phone means which is the compact phone of all, not just the one which has the smallest... moreAll the other phones except the XZ1 Compact and iPhone 8 are hardly considered compact even if the S8 and other bezelless phones claim to be compact. Just do a size by size comparison and you'll see only those two can be considered compact. The S8 even if it has bezels is hardly compact, same with the others.

If that is the case, iPhone SE should have won this poll. iPhone 8? The most compact of them lot? iPhone 8 is little taller and wider than S8, then how come it will be a compact? I agree with the poll, S8 is by far compact flagship which has more screen in a smaller body as a bonus apart from flagship grade internals than all the flagships mentioned here.

I'm not saying that mate 10 pro is not a good phone, but it's battery score is 40 points better than the note8, and that puts mate 10 pro 7 points better than the note 8. In reality in all battery tests, mate 10 pro battery is not much better than note 8 despite a much bigger battery.

P10 with 5.2" screen was considered compact, so where's the regular XZ1 with the same exact dimensions but even better screen quality (HDR vs non-HDR)?

Whoever made the poll where they included the >5" screen phones is High AF and smoked too much weed. There should have only been two choices: iPhone 8 and the XZ1 Compact. All others cannot be considered compact because of their bigger screens.

Anything above 5.5 is not compact and how did Mi6 got more votes than P10 and Note8 is winning big size poll with probably iPhone X being second

This time last year, I still used an iPhone 5. (it‘s the first birthday of my iPhone 7, I bought it for Christmas :) I can tell you one thing: 4.7in is absolutely enough for everything)

Forget about bezels. Pretty sure that a 5.8" screen required two hands to be navigated all over.
My thumb could reach the whole screen of the iPhone 8, so that defines a true compact phone. Can't do the same for the S8.

Anonymous, 24 Dec 20175.8 screen in an 5 inch body....so yes it is compactCompact means can be operated with one hand. It only feels compact, but the screen can't be used with just one hand and one finger.
