As usual, SE is a little late to the party (dual core party this time). Always with one (or two) step behind.
If it has that 2500 mAh battery it is worth your waith.

I read many comments for fanboys... iphone and nokia particularly.
But no other can beat SE fanboys for their comments..
really unbelieveably overrated regarding SE phones.. LOL!

Nice to see SonyE back in the game...
I bought a Galaxy S2 a month or so ago - should I have waited? No, I don't think so, SonyE has to prove that a) it gets its updates schedule right and b) it has to release this phone THIS YEAR before the next wave hits early next year...
I've said in the past that SonyE typically with their specs are a year behind the rest of the pack - this puts them 6 months behind... let's hope they can speed it up a bit more!
(hopefully they'll use some of this for Xperia Play 2 next year - then I'm sold!)
            ;)

Me LIKE it already very very much. Just hoping its as good looking as ARC. Got to see more of it again but some specs are looking G.O.O.D.

                WOW......4.5inch screen.....1.4Ghz dual core......12mp camera......2500Mah battery........
The infuse also has the same size screen, but nothing close to this power, the huge size of the phone should give it the space needed to hold such a big battery. It seems plausible. This phone should cost quite a bit estimate $900.

To all the Samsung slayers, this will not be out until late fall/winter. The GSII has already been out for 2 months.

If the rumor is right, that means
Motorola Bullet and Jet will be
                      the first smartphone with quad
                      core processor. Meanwhile, the
                      operating system is reported to
use Android though there is no
                      information what version of
                      Android will include into these
                      smartphones.
                      Motorola Bullet and Jet are
                      rumored to use similar main
                      features like quad core
                      processor, 1 – 2GB of RAM,
                      16GB on board flash memory
                      12MP back facing camera and
                      NFC capabilities. The different is
                      just on the design. Motorola
Bullet is reported to use 4.3 inch
                      qHD screen display. While
                      Motorola Jet will come with
smaller screen, 4 inch. But, it’s
                      supported with QWERTY
                      keyboard.

and as expected of sony ericson, this will be released next year when the competition's flagships use 3.0ghz quad core, 2gb ram, and 3000mAh batteries... haha..

looks like an excellent phone, SE starts to compete again with high end phones. it might be the replacement for my X10. however, why gingerbread??? by the time it launches, ice cream sandwich will be available and as far as I know you can't upgrade from 2.x to 4.x, if this is the case, I might go with the new nexus which is a step I haven't taken for almost 10 years (all my phone in the last 10 years were SE)

Guys, i too am looking forward to this. But, let's not get too carried away here knowing what we do on past experience with SE. For all we know it may be revealed Q2 2012, sporting a smaller screen, half the ram and bloated software.

Don't even get me started on how the OS may be 2/3 generations behind too when it is revealed.....
