Nokia 6 representing the comeback of Nokia. Everyone who owned a Nokia would have immediately voted for it on announcement. JerryRigEverything bend test and teardown brought most interest into it. Even any first Nokia phone would have got high votes.
But honestly Nokia 6 is a good phone. It works smooth for me. And looks and feels great.
Not a very fair list. Obviously the phones released first will have the most likes. Didn't think this through , gsmarena.

Competition means better and faster progress. With Apple pushing Android and Android pushing Apple - we all have benefits. Otherwise there would be monopol, and we would have notoriously expensive and really shitty phones.
So I'm glad Apple exists. And yes, there were times at which I was considering getting an iPhone, because why not if it has it's benefits? Stay open minded.

S8 has 14,9 cm tall. S7 Edge has 15cm
It has huge screen to body ratio, and still has really fast processor, good battery, good camera, a headphone jack and SD slot, unlike some from this list. And is really thin.
Not to mention iris scanner for example.
They ditched SD slot and headphone jack to "get more space for the good stuff" and yet, Samsung still has those features, and still made a better phone, and also did so before many of them!

It's really nice to see people are ... moreAnd btw, GSMArena is mostly used by Indians. iPhones are expensive as heck in India, so no Indian buys them. No wonder there are no iPhones on the list. If you would just ask USA and European readers (except Germany, because here were I live, people think like you), the list would be dominated by Samsung and Apple and probably some random overpriced mid range huawei as well.

I too am suprised by Nokia 6 in 2nd place.it has an sd430,hardly a good chip when released, now even worse due to "upgrades" to the 4 series,I'm suprised folk voted for it,having tried loads of different sd4 series devices,none of them are very good,they stutter,they lock,they slow down etc etc,almost anything is better than an sd4 series....
