I have seen far too many duds around me. Crashes, no updates and lagging. Although Apple throttled my iPhone 7 I haven't noticed any slow down in performance and if I'm getting another extra year of battery life it's fine with me.
What does upset me is the fact that I wasn't given a choice!
I will never buy iPhone in my life or even consider one, please do the same to save yourself emberrasment
I think the admission of Apple is true because lately my iPhone 6 Plus is experiencing lag opening apps particularly Line app which I don't experience at all since I bought my phone.
With the slowing down by Apple to their older phones, Apple is showing its greediness despite amassing billions of profits from their products. NOT every person can afford to buy their very expensive iPhone. I admit, I am using iPhone since their very first unit in 2017 but I don't upgrade every year because iPhone is expensive.
Apple's obsession with thinness is finally backfiring at them, not to mention their deceptive and corrupt practices. Hopefully they lose the case and get fined a huge amount.
So they make their phones unnecessarily too thin in expense of battery capacity and now as their phones age they slow them down to compensate on the already poor battery life?
It not true .I test all iPhones and I see 1 thing...
All iPhones get smoother after updating it to last iOS and battery life decreased..

Its just a tactic which Apple uses to generate profit. Even if it improves battery then who the hell is apple to slowdown a users phone so that they will get better battery life.

Anonymous, 23 Dec 2017If i don't notice my performance dropping significantly then i'm fine with having battery life... moreMorons fail to understand that the effect of the cause is more likely to be a new phone purchase, since neither the cause nor effect are known to users
Anonymous, 23 Dec 2017If i don't notice my performance dropping significantly then i'm fine with having battery life... morethey aim to keep their promise in the battery life claim in their site as far as I understand. so the preformance drop is by tiny bits as long it keeps the SAME battery life promised.
Kiyasuriin, 23 Dec 2017Not when it comes at the cost of preformance. I'd prefer to know that my battery life is short... moreIf i don't notice my performance dropping significantly then i'm fine with having battery life that doesn't die out in half a day. I guess the lawsuit is probably more about why Apple didn't give the option of choose which one to sacrifice but make the decision for users instead. So now i guess, is how much of a performance drop vs the battery life longevity gain.
YasuHamed, 23 Dec 2017xaiomis are the most underestimated devices! so much potential in MIUI Powered devices! That. I agree. I've held the Mi5 before I swapped to Galaxy S7,

I am always tellling apple is everything else but not a company to deal with.
They do everything to fill their greedy stomach or pockets with money.
They dont care about people and customers they only care for sales.
Ignore and disobey every possible law just to keep their poor quality and highly overpriced brand at top on every chart.
Not Apple's biggest fan but lawsuits like this is a little ridiculous. If the phone is not lagging badly and won't affect day to day operation, isn't it better to have a better battery life?
Apple is showing the cheap business tricks, as an American brand it is obvious that they will do cheap tricks
xXENDER FREAKXx, 23 Dec 2017Aww man, I'm not sure about my country Singapore :/I see. Well, if Apple is established in Singapore, you could try to start a lawsuit or gather a lot of iPhone owners to start a class action, with an emphasis on the fact that this limitation reduced usability of the device and falsely pushed you to ugrade
That's what happens when you make shitty phones that you have to go so low and break customers trust.
Apple was unique like Steve jobs saud I represents different and rebel but now the company seems to be loosing its reputation while imitating and trying too hard on the other side.
