Yep, and three months later the OnePlus 6T will be released, infuriating owners of the OnePlus 5
Same as the 3 and the 5!
I like too see real one working not just a make belief computer image.
I think so will samsung and have the curved screen.
Anonymous, 23 Dec 2017Interesting, hope they switch from metal to all glass body. So, you want the frame to be glass too?

Fingerprint is more secured than face unlock thats why it's being used as an identity since no one has d same fingerprint PERIOD

By the time your phone reaches in front of your eyes when you take it out of pocket it is unlocked by then by your finger. While face unlock starts the process at this point. We humans like simplicity. Fingerprint was removed for the sake of putting edge to edge screen on front. Back side finger print makes less sense as you wont feel the process to be as natural as it feels on front. Also while phone lies flat on table you cant unlock with fingerprint scanner on back side so the only way towards a good future is - all screen on front with a finger print scanner as well on front side.
Fingerprint sensor (s) still seems to be the best primary way to access our phones. Until face unlocking technologies are close to perfect as fingerprint sensors are, let's just stick to them

Ois, 25 Dec 2017Where did u learn that there wont be 6T?Same place he learned there wouldn't be a 5T, I guess...
So much money wasted for a dated characteristic. Active biometrics is so 2015... after using an iphone x for a couple of hours you lose any reasoning to ever buy any phone that supports that dead technology called fingerprint sensor.
Fingeprint sensors should only be used for palm rejection (if not a fingeprint=reject), i.e. not for security. Unlocking your phone with a finger seems such a hassle, at this point I have disabled swipe up as well and my phone unlocks when I look at it, relocks when I don't (and don't interact with it).
Announcing new tech in fingerprint sensors in this day and age seems like such a giant leap backwards...

It's not going to come out that early. OnePlus said there will be no 6T and with that being said. Samsung will have all the Snapdragon 845's so any phone come out around that time will be stuck with 835. Remember what happen to LG G6. OnePlus will wait until they can get a supply of 845 before production of the 6. So no it won't come out that early.
If oneplus can just add to their next phone with d ff:
OIS
IP68
Front speakers (even just like iphone setup will do)
It's gonna be a great phone
Then on the onplus 6T it will have front speakers as an upgrade from oneplus 6 hahaha. Marketing scheme.
Anonymous, 24 Dec 2017R.I.P 1+5t usersIndeed.
Good thing I didnt buy oneplus 5t
I think that the OnePlus 6 phone will be my next phone (not the galaxy s9) just because of the fingerprint sensor
I hate having this sensor on the back of the phone
Anonymous, 24 Dec 2017lol that 1000fps slow-mo is not gonna happen to any other phone except sonySony would eventually sell this to its customers. It wouldn't keep it to itself forever.
I think that now, after 1 year, Sony would sell it and not continue keeping for itself.
And we know that also Samsung has developed a similar feature in their sensor. Most probably it would be utilized in the S9.

Anonym, 24 Dec 2017True, some trade-offs will always be required. Nevertheless, one cannot simply ignore that the... moreYou have to take into consideration that Galaxy S8 is in the market for quite a while now and prices have dropped substantially...also, the prices you talk about are online prices in resellers like Amazon etc not prices from store official store.
Apart from that, big brands like Samsung have more capacity and better margins to work with, discounts etc
Most media still consider the OP5 the best bang for the buck and one of the best phones of 2017. The thing oneplus should've done in OP5 was a bezelless screen but they waited to do that in OP5T...
They'll probably continue in their path. OP6 will have a little improved camera, facial unlock, slight different design, probably IP certification and maybe dual speakers or/and wireless charge. The screen will be the same as the OP5T and of course, snapdragon 845, 6/8gb ram etc
Price will go up a bit again. Maybe 539 for base model and 589 for 8gb ram.
