What about Redmi Note 5, it's not coming ?
I'm In love with large screen smartphones
Currently using the Max 2, its 6.45" display is a great size with good width but it has massive top-bottom bezels, sharp side edges (so uncomfortable to hold -note 4 with its flat side is perfect), hard to reach FP sensor (place it a cm below plse), no dedicated memory slot. Otherwise its a really nice phone (having USB C is brilliant -Common charger n cable for all purposes & devices).
My Samsung phone is 8". 7" is way too small.
Best improvement I like on this Mi Max 3 over Mi Max 2 is its powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AP. I think that Mi Max 2 should have used the SD660 AP, instead of current SD625. At least Mi Max 2 should have had option to choose AP between SD 660 or SD 625. The Oppo R11 with SD660 was already released when Mi Max 2 came out this June.
And Qualcomm Snapdragon 670, successor of the old SD660 is already on the way out early next year. So I guess that Xiaomi Mi Max 4 with SD670 or SD635 choice option are not far behind Mi Max 3 release. Maybe May or June next year 2018.
This will crush mini4 in all aspects.
Note 8 is giant already....
Tjis is almost a tablet
If they do 7 inch phone with 18:9...it's not gonna be big phone...as my experience with my vivo v7+ 18:9...it's just same with 5.5 inch phone just big screen not a big phone at all :)
Way too tall for me. And because Xiaomi hasn't made deals to sell in the U.S...I'd be skipping. I'd skip because it is too damn tall. Lenovo P2 is 5.5" and managed to put a 5000 mAh battery in it. So it can be done in a less tall form factor.
but will it work with 4g lte in the u.s.? not interested if it is only hspa+
Uhm... Isn't 7inches considered a tablet already? Kinda confused... o_o
But regardless. Since it's 18:9 it keeps the 6.44in for 16:9 content.... so it's legit.
That's it. Now I am sure there won't be any Redmi Note 5.
Lol are u kidding me..7" screen with 18:9AR for a phone, even tho it is a Phablet. That is in the tablet range.
I like the big battery but wish the screen will MAX out at
7 inches is way too big, even if the bezels are decreased. 6.7" or 6.8" seems more ideal.
I think it would fall to tablet category then, not phablet anymore.
