What do people expect? Seriously, it's a mid range device from a Chinese OEM. The fact that it got some updates is already good news. Oreo? Dream on.

What's more concerning is that it's November 1st patch which didn't include some important vulnerability fixes. How many more months would we wait to get them?
Glad I went with Nokia and not the Moto G5 series.
Just be grateful, g5s plus, the newer one, is still on Oct Patch and vulnerable to KRACK.
Something send to have happened to the camera. Images with HDR turned on are coming out blurred and muted in colours.
Remember, Motorola is now owned by Lenovo. I have a lenovo Phab 2 Plus, Until now, security patch level is Oct. 2016.
No november patch on G5S Plus it seems
