Readers get a much better idea of the phone's capabilities in this way.
The benefit of the video is of course the movement of pictures! Therefore, you should focus on issues like the clarity of the screen, the speed and responsiveness of various functions and a demonstration of the interface (menus, camera, editing etc).

Awesome GSM arena is my one of my most frequently visited sites and now i am glad to know that video reviews are coming so instead of reading big reviews I know I can depend GSMarena standard videos which ofcourse will make things easier. So now in less time I can know more thanks to gsm arena...

Length of the videos don't matter that much - you can have a 4min brief video or a 10min "in-depth" review or both if you please.
However, one issue I'd like to point out is:
Please speak a bit SLOWER!
The video makes it obvious you're trying to rush in a lot of text in limited air time; but maybe you don't need to.
Clarity of speech is a primary requirement for video reviews; and in your case can be improved, if only slightly.
Otherwise a great review!!

SPEAK SLOWER!!! It might be a problem to some audiences to listen to the guy/text when you speak this fast and additionally this british accent. THX!!

OK gsmarena, so here is the deal. You finally started providing video reviews. Although your on-site reviews are one of the best, i thought you might like to take some suggestions in improving your online video-
1. the videos are short, a 6-7 min video will not harm(many good sites give 15 min video)
2. The person in the video speaks too fast for me to listen with ease. If he speaks at a normal pace, i think the video will strech to good 5 min, which will solve the first issue
3. volume of the background music should be lowered or the person should speak a bit louder(not a very big issue)
4. If possible, at the end of the issue, there should be shown a rating on some of the features like Build, features, camera, performance, value for money, reviewers tilt etc(this rating should be available on site too)
5. like you provide the summary of pros and cons on the website review, try to show it on video too.
rest is all good. i am a regular visitor of this site since 4 years, and consult this site everytime before establishing any opinion for any phone.

guys, very nice videos. but insted of short scripted videos, do 20 mins long and unscripted videos. a bit of blabbering and bloopers and mistakes will make the videos more natural and enjoyable. also kill that background music as it makes the review bit too sophisticated. the videos should be like a gnr show, raw and awesome. keep up the great work!!!!!!
