AnonD-428442, 29 Dec 2017"But we won't update your phone so you will have to buy a new one in a year anyway."It doesn't matter. Apple will slow down your iPhone whether you don't update. They base it on battery cycles.

Sometimes it isn't good to update your software or apps. It gets bloated or worse.

A 4800mAh battery that cannot even last 3 hours when watching YouTube, and it take almost a day to charge it to full. A big tablet with mediocre specifications, SAMSUNG did pretty crap last time, no offense, but at least they done a better job now

                                  Not just HTC and Motorola.
Asus, LG, Sony, Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, ZTE, Lenovo, and almost every Android smartphone but Samsung are very very fast from the very first day of their duty to their last breath.

As for Samsung, it is the Apple of Android world. We know why they slow down within less than a year.
