Obviously Samsung's ISOCELL sensors are made with big inspiration from Sony's Exmor IMX sensors.
It's the big reason that 40% of the smartphones in this world today have Sony sensors.
Samsung made good sensors too, but don't fool yourself into thinking it is on par with Sony's, because it's evidently not; it is a class below it.

Just proud of me to say that without Sony, in 2020, our smartphones would still be stuck at low 240fps slow motion.
Without Sony, Samsung and Apple's cameras would remain to be having extremely slow and unreliable focusing speed, with underwhelming picture quality.
Without Sony, Android Oreo wouldn't be a good OS.
Without Sony, our smartphones won't be waterproof.
Without Sony, we won't have OLED screens.
Without Sony, we won't be able to scan our favorite subjects in 3D for AR in the future.
Without Sony, this world of smartphones will be nothing.

Hello GSMArena team :)
I have few suggestions to improve usability of this site:
1. It's a good idea to score reviews quantitatively as you do now and it would be greater if you rank top 10 devices every quarter according to those scores (in 3 categories: flagship, midrange and budget) so it would be easier to choose a phone at a glance.
2. It would be great to actually score each element of your device scoring (price, battery, camera, screen, audio, ...) separately for each device.

I think iPhones didnt come in this list because they were released during the fourth quarter of the year. Otherwise they would atleast be in the top ten.
