AnonD-723864, 01 Jan 2018My xiaomi A1 do not get Android oreo from bangladesh..... Now what should I do? Just wait for the update notification, don't keep pressing check update as this will move you to next batch of user to receive updates.
Actually the changes are minimal, the first batch update has a few bugs, so is better to wait for few days & let Xiaomi/Google rectify the bugs.
Don't use force update by deleting data in you Google Framework, as that can mess up all your future update.

There is an annoying "SIM1 is HD" notification for VoLTE enabled networks.
Also, I am noticing battery drain - the phone is down to 90% from a full charge in less than 2 hours without any usage.

On day 1 only 1% of the devices get the update. Google assures that something in not going wrong with those 1% devices. If nothing wrong happens then in next 3-4 days other 20% devices gets the update.And so on...

After my phone got updated to Oreo, there is a little bugs in detecting sim2. I already restart it many times but my card in sim2 is still not detected yet.

Motorola simply doesn’t customize its Android heavily. But that doesn’t mean they have stock Android. They are as bad on updates as other typical OEM.
The Mi A1 is on Android One program. It is actually real stock Android (only the camera app is custom by Xiaomi because the stock Android camera app doesn’t support dual camera yet). The Mi A1 will enjoy updates and security patches close to the Pixel lineup.
