If they launch this phone in a slow pace in other countries, then it is a big failure for them. Waiting so long makes it less desirable :(
NOKIA, can you please release a sexy red and a dark teal version of 6 and the 9 when released please.
Jkk311, 02 Jan 2018So we may expect Nokia 3 2018 with Qualcomm 450Nokia 5 may be 450... but mos likely 43x.
Nokia 3 is Hopefully 2xx series.
Anonymous, 02 Jan 2018Agree with you. The original SD 430 is crappy.
But I will wait to 3rd gen nokia with 18:9 d... more16:9 is just superior compared to 18:9 as long as most videos Are 16:9.
Sooner or later it may chance, but at this moment 16:9 is just much more sensible.
Anonymous, 02 Jan 2018Dont blame nokia. Blame your presidentIn India Nokia 8 is available with Made in India System. Nokia just lazy to release here.
Dan808, 02 Jan 2018They should price it a little less than the current Nokia 6 (2017). As it is already an old ch... moreThey will reduce the 2017 price, and have the 2018 at the old price. This is a good strategy.
Pricing it lower than the old price will degrade the brand value
Anonymous, 02 Jan 2018Well, they creating segmentation.. Thats why the 1st gen have slow cpu. And the 2nd gen (upd... moreI don't think so. If they want segmentation, they already have Nokia 7 covering what the new Nokia 6 will have. IMO, it just hardware refresh like any other OEM did (iPhone, SGS, etc). Maybe 2018 is the refresh for 6, 5, and 3. 2019 might be for 8, 7, and 2. 2020 back to 6, 5, and 3... and so forth. Dunno... Just my wild guess :3
Far123, 02 Jan 2018When do you think this will go global? in my country(Indonesia) Nokia 6 came at August which i... moreThats because Indonesia have special rule that all 4g phone must be made in Indonesia.
kurotsuki, 02 Jan 2018Well... Nokia 6 is just released around October in our country. I don't think they stupid enou... moreWell, they creating segmentation..
Thats why the 1st gen have slow cpu.
And the 2nd gen (updated version) have faster cpu.
It target different segment with different price
sadh, 02 Jan 2018Good. We will see how this new 6 look and perform. 16:9 with small bezel is much appreciated. ... moreAgree with you. The original SD 430 is crappy.
But I will wait to 3rd gen nokia with 18:9 design and bigger screen.
sadh, 02 Jan 2018Our country is always at getting the phone :Â’) But i think Nokia has been speeding up the di... moreWell... Nokia 6 is just released around October in our country. I don't think they stupid enough to release the new Nokia 6 as soon as possible since that would eat up the old Nokia 6's share. I think this is the reason why they release existing Nokia 6 only in two color (black and silver). Maybe they didn't plan to sell many Nokia 6 devices all along since the new one already on the corner.
Looking forward to seeing it. It should have in theory similar battery life to the Mi A1 and that's no slouch. A better chipset with 14 nm tech should lead to a better battery life. Plus the other good thing is that physically it will be less tall. I was hoping for a less wide design with rounded edges as the current model is a little too wide to hold and the flat edges make it a little uncomfortable to hold.
The Nokia 5 2018 should also be good as that might have a similar battery but smaller size footprint with a 450 or 630 chipset. The battery life on that should be super and it should be easy to hold.
It is a great upgrade. the 6 was already a successful, solid device. Less bezel, legend solidness and a faster processor and leave the 9 for its own platform.
FPS on back side.. won't be able distinguish the phones in future by the looks of Front panel.. I feel like it is end of impressive design ( At least on front panel)... Just a thought..
Does the fact that it will have the same screen mean that it will have the same shift to cyan as the 2017 edition, or does it only mean that it will remain the same size and keep being IPS LCD?
