acemang, 03 Jan 2018htc lost me on my htc u11 updates. failed the promised oreo update until the end of the year. ... moreIm totally agree with you. HTC could build a great phone, but after HTC 10 (one of the last good HTC phones since HTC M7) they didnt have enough funds and manpower for the future devices. Hopefully the Acquisition from Google helps the company in someway.

There are better phones than HTC
            Never ever buy HTC
What they do is just deceive their customers
            Worst than Chinese OEMs

they post that they already have it in some regions, but guess Europe is not on their list to keep up promises, so why i bother to keep buying their stuff?
updates are more important to me than 4k screen (less battery life) or 300:9 ratio screen.
to bad pixel phones are too ugly, but i guess i will have to go that route to get proper support.

If this is real, then I'm back to HTC. The only problem is, are they even gonna sell it globally and for how long do we have to wait? This has been the issue with the company in the U11+ release. As if they just deliberately keep the stock to themselves.

the g6 and v30 dont have 16:9 displays either they have 18:9 screens. Phones with slimmer bezels dont use 16:9 screens probably so that there is enough space in the phone to accommodate all the internals. This way they dont reduce the size of the phones just reduce the border around the screens.

It's about time we move up. QHD has served us for a good 4 years, but it's time to innovate and move forward.

4K HDR is the future. Most contents in the near future will be made in that resolution. Haters, you can s**k on that.

No point in showing it with its screen off. It might still have bezels for all we know.

This looks like a copy of the S8.

                                        Also, why HTC why?!?
Just keep the user-friendly and practical 16:9 aspect ratio.
And shave the bezels, don't remove them completely, like the LG G6/V30.
In addition, where's your sexy front speakers, we want them back!
