Great phone. Waiting eagerly for the launch.
Honor 8 pro disadvantages over Honor v10-
not full vision display. 18:9
Though mentioned fast charger, not really fast(2 hours min)
qhd resolution( more battery drain and not okay for gaming)
Camera average in low light.
Older chipset than V10.
Above all neural processing unit in v 10 makes it even more exciting.
Honor has done a great job in v10
IronHeart8, 04 Jan 2018How is this different from Honor 8 Pro18:9 display, newer processor, lower res screen. It's an incremental update, like the Oneplus 5T is for 5.
Their EMUI really sucks and other than that their phone is very good
No OIS, no water proofing, no Amoled. Apart from oreo i don't see anything interesting. Being Huawei that might be a big thing considering the slow or non existent updates.
There is another 'flagship' phone made by them, huawei nova 2s. Slightly same design but came with glass sandwich built, a little bit older kirin 960, likely to compete in chinese competitive market.
Join to taller screen party is their mid-ranges powered by kirin 659 & dual camera. It's honor 7x and another phones with metal built, huawei maimang 6 (china), huawei nova 2i (asean), honor 9i (india), mate 10 lite (europe/us).
Likely, huawei/honor all out to compete in very competitive 2017/2018 mid-range market and obviously they were in right track.
That front mounted fingerprint sensor is just...bleh :/ Everything else is amazing! The pricing is even more amazing.
Honor 8 Pro launched at exactly the same price, and was also touted as the OP5 Killer (it truly was), still it couldn't move numbers as compared to OP5.
Yes Yes Yes!!!!! I love the pricing... been waiting for this the whole of 2017! I only see two features that don't give me complete satisfaction: the USB 2.0 and Bluetooth! definitely not dealbreakers! and definitely a great way to start off the new year! Cheers
