I definitely won't upgrade my P10 to the P20 if they implement this. I have the Mi Mix 2 also and the implementation is fine. The front camera isn't an issue either, I've made several whatsapp video calls and have no issues. I would rather have a little bit of top bezel than a useless notch that turns a 6 inch screen into a 5.5 inch screen.

now, turn the table around, like apple amoled screen. yea, they use the tech that is good for the phone and the user. this is called upgrades! if they go and take that stupid samsung edge feature, then apple is stupid.

if you think about it the galaxy s8 is not really bezel-less since it still has a black line on top and bottom, only the sides does not have bezel. if the iphone x did not need the front facing camera, the top speaker, ambient sensor, proximity sensor then the notch would not be there, the iphone x would have been a full screen phone but the phone needs those things. if you look at it the notch is the only bezel on the iphone x

Weird, it just makes phones uglier and I bet some folks who have OCD would be allergenic to such design, me included. I'd rather have older designs instead of this.

I wouldn't mind a notch at the top but with a black background for the status bar throughout the whole UX
then a small chin at the bottom with the same thickness as the notch to give symmetry
IMO that will look alot better than a minimal chin and a notch with colourful status bar..

This phone looks great! I just hope the dimensions are suitable for a one hand usage. Even though it looks exactly like the iphone X, I don't care, because it will make the generations forget about getting an iphone X. Hahaha.
