Nokia 6 wins the most durable phone of 2017. Nokia legendary robustness. This new model is beautiful, faster, more screen and the accents are a fantastic touch. Nicely done !
So it won't be available for other countries anytime sooner i believe. Waiting for January 19th for any release
Jack Frost, 05 Jan 2018Man...how can people complain about this? First generation Nokia 6 was the most durable phone ... moreExactly. Nokia Brick+Good Specs+Low Price=My next phone. I trust Nokia over most brands, and they finally have a phone worth buying. The king is back!
Looks good for the price, sure, they could have updated its innards, yet, IMHO, smaller and better looking and with lower price tag means it will find its customers.
Jack Frost, 05 Jan 2018Man...how can people complain about this? First generation Nokia 6 was the most durable phone ... moreExactly my point! The phone is even more affordable now than its predecessor last year when it was launched! Nokia 6 is worth buying in my opinion.
Man...how can people complain about this? First generation Nokia 6 was the most durable phone of 2017. This is also gonna be the most durable phone of 2018. An upgrade from SD435 to 630 without increasing the price, slimmer bezel and more beautiful design. What do you expect from a phone of $230? And of course it has the 3.5mm headphone jack!
Unfortunately, it is much too wide.
Dual stereo speakers! Adiós..
Anonymous, 05 Jan 2018Nokia 2 is there for you, perfectly fit your small palm.Nokia 2 is pretty useless. Why can't handphone manufacturers put the same hardware into different screen sizes and let consumers have the choice, like Sony does with the XZ1 Compact, XZ1, and XZ Premium? It's a HANDphone that fits in my hand, not a LAPtop that fits on my lap that I'm looking for.
Andy, 05 Jan 2018No NFC..? And a shame they didn't increase the battery capacityThey didn't increase the price either!
Anonymous, 05 Jan 2018Why software buttons and not under screen..?Software buttons means no need to add additional hardware (so cheaper to make). It's a bold move, these little things help to keep the price low. For €190/$230, this phone is absolutely amazing value, especially considering it has better CPU than original N6, less bezels, much more beautiful design and the same quality build.
They ruined the bigger screen with software buttons and now the sdcard slot is hybrid, not dedicated, which make me not consider it for me. Probably it'll be out of the "Project Treble" too.
Aside that, for those that doesn't care about the mentioned features is a good option.
In my opinion, the new Nokia 6 for this moment is probably the best phone in its price bracket. The only phone which can compete with it, unless Motorola will unveil something special, is Xiaomi mi A1. The only shortcoming is that it lost the stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos of its predecessor. Moreover, Nokia could improve the camera a bit (I hope they improved image processing at least) and increase the battery.
AnonD-343077, 05 Jan 2018Excellent specs and design. Good to seen Nokia back in competition. Only battery capacity if b... more630 helps in there. It eat less electricity than 430 so this will be fine!
Excellent specs and design. Good to seen Nokia back in competition. Only battery capacity if below as expected.
As usual, nothing special. Dismiss guys. Chinaphone again.
Very cheap strategy by Nokia. They have Oreo ready but they haven't given because of project treble. Well played Nokia 😠😠😠😠😠
Now that I think about it, the original 6 was sold for $300 and the 26 million hits and thousands of faves according to this site means that a lot of people bought it which gave HMD Nokia a massive profit and that profit is utilized for getting better specs for the 2nd version and sold for $100 cheaper than the original.
I tought it would cost a lot but actually it is pretty cheap for phone like this
