I would love to see FM transmitter, Xenon flash, etc come back, alongwith a high megapixel big sensor camera...
But apart from that, I think there should be atleast one wide angle camera that is common for both shooting and selfie, using some rotation trick. It will need some work to make this mechanism stable, but it will do awesome...
The other 1-2 cameras on the rear, can then be applied to specialised needs, like telephoto, b&w, etc...
What do you guys think about this idea? I think its been used before in a Chinese phone...

Inbuilt fingerprint scanner and complete bezel-less design will be a perfect 2018 phone, the rumored fast charging which charge phone in 15-30 mins will also be a huge step forward. Standalone VRs are awaited too.

Stereospeakers similar to those of the Essential. I like how they seem hidden, yet they are there and their quality is good.
I am also excited about having more companies bring back the headphone jack :P
Also, a range of scientific smartphones. It would be interesting to utilize smartphone available and potential scientific applications. For example, scanning food using the camera.

lol face recognition has been on phones for like 3+ years now. "MORE" of something isn't a new feature. Its so sad that phones are so boring these days, that people are looking forward to just more of what they already have.
