The idea of triple cam is good and will vastly improve photo quality. I always loved the monochorme lens on Huawei, true blacks and whites rather than using a filter. But guys take a step back. Companies like Apple and Google has great softwares in terms of portrait mode etc, so improve on it rather having that second or third cam. What I want to drive at is the vast adoption of variable aperature single cam, like the one we see in Samsung W2018 (if u dont know this, go check it out). Hopefully, by the time I buy a new phone which will be in 2019, there is variable aperature cam phones out there for me to choose. Imagine DSLR like picture at your fingertips!!!

But in a easy to get to wish:
The return of interchangeable integrated back-plates and battery-packs.

So the user could choose a slim pack for the dinner jacket, or a large pack for extensive use, depending of the need of the day.

But of course this would prevent crooked companies from doing planned obsolescence like several do today (many have learned this trick from the top crook) - so not likely to happen again soon.

I personally hope for foldable display devices.

But perhaps 2018 is too soon for that.

The optimal would be a device folded two times over (three 'parts') expanding to phablet/tablet size, but folded to phone-size

I imaging a standard 65x116mm one, and a compact 55x98 one for those with small hand/ags/pockets. Unfolding to roughly 206x116mm respectively 174x98mm

If it should be perfect for me, one of the three parts had a hardware qwerty on the 'back' so when used with 2/3 display down, I had 1/3 display up and a real keyboard.

On a slightly longer perspective the whole device should be somewhat flexible, so it easily bent with the body in a pocket.

Honestly, I am waiting for the foldable display. That is the only one that interests me at the moment. Oh! And Surface phone.

3D face scanning is not necessary not that interesting at the moment. But I will be delighted to be proven wrong.

The manufacturers are only doing it for marketing, so they can claim a 6 inch screen (that has less pixels than a 16:9 6 inch screen), and bezel-less (so you accidentally touch the screen regularly).
