Can confirm these issues with my Pixel 2 XL. Very frustrating! 😤
"Google thanks all those users who are buying these buggy devices and letting them know about every single bug with these devices without even taking a single penny from Google as compensation. Google also says that this saved them thousands of dollars which otherwise would have been spend on reliable QA team which was supposed to do all these testing for them"
Everytime I miss calls because of this issue... I thought it was a problem due to my screen protector... Hope google will send a fix soon for this.
UnbiasedSonyFanboy2, 07 Jan 2018Because Pixel XL was made by HTC. Pixel 2 XL was made by LG instead. That's the reason I replaced my 2 XL with Pixel 2 by HTC. HTC is waaay more reliable than LG.
Running January security patch without any issues.
No problem with my pixel 2 xl
This is normal for Google. Can't expect more than that.
That's just normal for this behemoth company. Things usually do not work.
Typical "quality" you would expect from Google and its products.
Anonymous, 07 Jan 2018This is normal. Because everyone wants their updates super fast or else a company is slow and ... moreExactly, I used Samsung S phones since S4, updates are painfully slow, but when it comes never had any issues, works fluently all the time, better wait when get quickly but broken
This is normal. Because everyone wants their updates super fast or else a company is slow and sucks.
And all the companies big wigs are just greedy a hats that have unrealistic time expectations.
This is why all phones ans updates come with so kany glitches and bugs...ALL being the key word.
[deleted post]Happens a lot here
Mata, 06 Jan 2018No issues on my Google Pixel XL. Everything is working fine after the update to Oreo 8.1Because Pixel XL was made by HTC. Pixel 2 XL was made by LG instead.
With all these issues, the users who got their Pixel 2 phones without OS should consider themself lucky...
Google's main "feature" is issues with every update. Besides hardware issues.
So go ahead, overpay a Pixel 2 so you can be lab rat for Google testing beta... ups *khm* I mean so you will always be the first one to get updates...
Next coming up: Google follows Apple by slowing down Pixel phones...
No issues on my Google Pixel XL. Everything is working fine after the update to Oreo 8.1
Dang, who the heck is the underpaid overworked programmer at Google hooked at coffee that is responsible of these software issues?!?
Good good. Serves them right for charging a premium on a midrange phone cause that's all this this is. Big disgrace to Android
