I do wonder about the price the xa1 and xa2 debuted at quite a high price and then they dropped later on when no one bought them. Hope they don't make the same mistake again.

XA1 costs from 200 to 250 eur in my country. A comparable Xiaomi MiA1 costs 290 EUR, Huawei 10 lite costs 280 eur, Galaxy J5 costs 250 EUR (with 30% less powerful processor and only 16GB of storage)... Shall we go on?

Chinese affordable brands are nothing but factories with PR people in front to present on stages and give interviews like face of the companies but in-between these two is a one big void. There is no R&D, there is no customer support network, outsourced software development, etc. Sony and all other big brands are proper conglomerates.

This is a battle between Nokia 6 (2018) and Xperia XA2. It is all down to pricing in the end... Samsung has already lost this battle, sammy has absolutely nothing to offer in middle range category. A8 is expensive as a flagship, J5 is not even close with its 16GB storage and mediocre processor and camera. It's funny, but XA2 has a little over exaggerated battery. It could do just fine with battery around 2800mAh, but this big fellow has made this beautiful device a bit bulky. It will score around 120h endurance result here at GSMArena. No need for such numbers... A 2800mAh more slik battery would reach 90h mark with ease...

sony has great phones. just bought XZ premium. I dont care bezels, so I took it. the phone is great. fast, excellent camera, battery is ultimate. very satisfied. very happy sony stays at rectangular design. all the other looks the same shape. but I miss xperia phone with stylus pen, like note8. was using p990 and I like the stylus pen very much.

Again a top phone with midranger specs and price of 2 flagships.
Sony is going to outrun apple in pricing like Samsung does with their A8 and A8 plus phones.
Thanks no.
Dear Sony do us a favor and leave from the market.
We are not interested in your superexpensive devices with Sony sticker on it and mid range specs.
Thank you.
Cpt.Power out :-)

I can't believe I'm saying this for a Sony but these XA models actually look really good. Lot of improvements from the previous year, thank god they have finally abandoned Mediatek. Dedicated micro SD is excellent! If the pricing has not gone high they will sell very well. Good start to the year by Sony. Do they have Qnovo adaptive charging as well?

Last year the XA1 series had f2.0 for front camera.
Now they increased the angle of lenses and now they have f2.4.
Ultra is only one to bring front flash, the other two will crank up ISO at night even more.

Cky, 08 Jan 2018Finger print sensor on the back?!?! Why Sony has to do this? Aren't Sony able to fit the senso... moreit had to put it there so it can make it work in the US (because of some patents, and ot's better then having a fingerprint scanner that is on the side but doesn't work) plus i think it looks good!
