Depends on how far away from your screen you play but in my gaming room (essentially a decent size bedroom that has all the games and stuff in instead, a 49 inch tv is definitely big enough. I could go 55 or so max but 65 inch is basically just pointless unless you sit miles away from the screen but then you may as well just get a better seating arrangement and have a tv that doesn't cost you more for no real benefit. We're not going blind so short of complaining it's not a 100 inch tv anything about 42" is usually decent enough size (unless again, you choose to sit further away).

bug, 08 Jan 2018Too bad by the time GPUs can actually sustain more then 60fps@4k with HDR, these monitors will... moreBuy two 1080 tis and you can already. Unlike crossfire nvidia actually bothers to support sli respectably well...

O S, 08 Jan 2018You can just call it a "Big F*cking Gaming Display". Problem solved. 65 is too much for gaming. You have to sit back enough so that the monitor would actually use *less* of your field of view than a desktop mounted 42'' gaming monitor.

I call nVidia to reconsider, or at least also consider a 4k "TV" meant for a desktop (~40 inch is the max you can have for a 4k panel).

Just what the article states is basically what it makes this model useless. Who is to play ps4 pro or the new xbox on such a tv, they would completely waste its capabilities (no 120 hz, no actual 4k, graphics straight from 4 year old pc games), yet you are forced to because it is not desktop mounted.

Monitor :)))) it is TV designed for gaming. Definitely not for consoles, consoles only can hit 30fps, so it is designed for someone like steam machine or powerful pc used as media centre and gaming in a living room and ok for future consoles, if it will hit 60 fps anytime soon :)

Although, very few people are going to be able to afford such setups.
