The ui on the n9 is whats got it all the attention but guess what, is not meego. It belongs to nokia and they would continue with it as elop said himself. Besides, meego would run apps written Qt.
Get real!, 19 Jul 2011Would you care sharing some proof to your claims?sure.
without reveling sensitive maters, all of this things are studied to the milimeter.
nokia is no exception, and since they are strugling to get on track, this kind of "leaks" are the most obvious things to do.
the only thing i find curious is the amount of people still thinking the oposite.
no wonder this world is coming to an end.
bunch of molded minds.
AnonD-616, 19 Jul 2011okay nokia device not sold like android and apple , and nokia not have a lot applictions like ... morehi yes nokia is sill first because how many doing mobile
per year that not mean nokia king and first
for example iphone only doing one mobile each year
put how many sell 3 million for 3 days iphone4
Some people are so foolish that they compare nokia and android.
That's like comparing messi and nou camp.
Differentiation....yeah Nokia...just another WP7
AnonD-3601, 19 Jul 2011are you living in this world dude.......nokia officially said that they will support meego for... moreElop has made it very clear that the development of Meego will be discontinued. Support only means maintenance of the one and only Meego phone ever.
nokia beter use the android if they wanted to be on top again, this wp7 ui looks too boring than the symnbian n maemo dont u think ? n i want it to buy the technology not only the casing lol
That's my new future phone

Sun Down, 19 Jul 2011There was some news about chips made in China that doesn't allow encryptions of data in the mi... moreHahaha, dunno about that. So you're saying communist China is spying on us? I'm from Asia(but not China), they're not that bad, lol. Yeah, from my experience, Nokia phones durability is 3X more than the Android brands. My Samsung said adious in less than 1.5 years.
As for what some of the Android fans have posted on speed & all that, it doesnt matter from where I'm at. For web surfing, internet speed can only go so fast, no matter how great the device is(if you dont get what this means, then you are very priviledged). My 60% cheaper Nokia can load webpages as fast as iphone 4 users. Now they are complaining about slow internet speed.
Price is still a big factor round these parts, as a high end phone costing 1 to 2.5 monthly salary.
The Nokia W8 (Wait). Lol! What a perfect name for it seeing as not many people are going to wait for this device.
When the N9 came out everyone was comments were that is a beauful designed phone the only problem and for some its not was that it was running MeeGo. the only problem i can see here is that everyone got excited 3 half weeks ago but this phone is not due until October so that is a long wait the design is great but somehow i still feels like they just slapped WP7 software on the handset.
It seems we are only going on about one handset from Nokia but Mr Elop has stated that there will be more than one phone coming out i am very interested in what these other ones will look like and it would appear that there is silenced could we be geting side tracked?
Good for Nokia with the W9 phone. Now with all this Microsoft bashing. What people are angry about is that Elop killed Meego which showed to be very promising so that Microsoft could have their $$. We consumers are the one who decides which platform we want to buy and not Microsoft. That Microsoft are trying to force feed us their products by killing the competition like a boxer would shoot his opponent outside the ring, makes me angry.
Super! I hope this comes to Sprint.:-)
Nokia is using wp7, while competitors are using both wp7 and android, Nokia will remain in danger.
Sun Down, 19 Jul 2011There was some news about chips made in China that doesn't allow encryptions of data in the mi... moreHell yeah men, My 5800 is only two years long but still survives in real tough use... Also I still have 2300 which is more than 5 years old... working nicely apart from the battery...
i m waiting frm lng tym to get that!
AnonD-616, 19 Jul 2011AhmEd not need to give you any site , because all the world's knows android has too much issue... moreYou need update sorry for that
its work great no problem
There are million program in andrad like this
Once again if Nokia keeps delaying then they will leave a bad impact on people who are waiting for the device, plus by the time its released it will be outdated so don't rush but just make it available as soon as possible.
