I think it is good to have as many OS available to potential customers. Nokia will satisfy a specific market, Android the other. BB, IO will fill gaps.Choice is good!

AnonD-13986, 19 Jul 2011Sorry? Didnt get your joke. My Nokia E6 really does have the "Made in China" sticker... moreThere was some news about chips made in China that doesn't allow encryptions of data in the missles used by the US. So maybe China was watching us all the time with these phones. Lol. And hell yeah, Nokia really is reliable. I still have my old N70 and that tough old bitch hasn't died yet.

ahmed, 19 Jul 2011hi thanks you yes you correct if nokia make android will be perfect great sound qu... moreWait, you're the Samsung S2 guy, haha.
Nokia is still rather strong in Asia, Ahmed. Yes, yes I know the Nokia sales has dropped, well, it lasts 3 years. My city alone has 3 Nokia authorized dealers, situated in all the major shopping malls & bus terminals. SE has 1.
Samsung is very aggressive in it's marketing but from my(& others) experience, it lasts less than 2 years. Mine, less than 1.5 years. Same with other Samsung products I used, konked out after the warranty perioud. For what I paid for, I expect it to last longer.

You dont like Nokia, fine, there are so many Android models for you to choose & enjoy. It will not be 'nobody support Nokia', that's too strong.
Usability, doesnt matter much from where I'm at. The internet speed can only go so fast. I can load webpages on my 60% cheaper Nokia as fast as Iphone 4 users cos I'm using the one with best coverage(& of course the most expensive).

[deleted post]Android is an OS which needs two cores to even function properly without lag. Why would i use something with such poor optimization?

AnonD-616, 19 Jul 2011okay nokia device not sold like android and apple , and nokia not have a lot applictions like ... moreBut nokia suffered great decline in smartphone market.
Its the s40's and certain awesome s60's that make up the n.o.s i'd say.
Htc, samsung,lg,sony are eating the market share with their android flagships.

Lets hope wp7 and meego do the job well. But still, today everyone need a dual core. Even if the single core do the job better, they need dual.

Nokia should try to develop something better than android. If nokia goes android, whats the difference from others?

The current WP7 doesn't support video-calling so have Nokia scrapped the secondary camera because I couldn't quite tell. I guess they haven't released what all the updates are going to be (who knows, maybe you'll be able to video-call).

It looks better than any Samsung phone. This one is a beauty and not ugly like the entire Galaxy line.

C'mon guys, really if Nokia were gonna hop onto the android bandwagon, this world would be monopolised by droids...

No competition means Google would just sit back for a siesta n there'd b slower advances in tech.

And really, having tried both android n WP7 recently, i'd have to say i'd prefer to stay on MS boat. OS is sleek and functional, esp wifi connectivity is brilliant, though still rather limited in apps.

Android on the other hand has great range of apps but crashes all the time, not to mention all the probs i had with wifi connectivity (esp with 2.2 froyo).
