Rather get a old Samsung flagship than this phone, unless you care about bezels, if not older flagships is better
WOrld1, 09 Jan 2018Why buy a 2016 phone? For same price you can buy a 2017 flagship phoneThe S7 is an excellent phone and still relevant in 2018. Plus you save a lot of money. You can save further with the S6 which can be had in stores unlocked brand new for real cheap. The CPU perfs are still great and you still get QHD sAMOLED.
It is overpiced, but as I read on local forums, a lot of people will buy it from carriers.
It is listed at 350 Euros with 2 years contract 13 Euro per month, or 30 Euro per month with the same plan. Which is a lot of money, but people don't think.
Way too expensive compared to comparable phones from Huawei and Xiaomi - especially the latter's Redmi 5.
Who the funk would pay so much for a mid-range phone that has high-end flagship price?
People are getting dumber by each passing day...
500€ for that crappsuunggg lagfest?
Sony Xperia XZs
Sony Xperia Xz1
Sony Xperia xz1c
Sony Xperia XZ premium are all cheaper and better.
On top of that there's one plus 5t, iPhone 7plus, Huawei p9,LG g6, etc
AnonD-533278, 09 Jan 2018Samsung stopped listening to consumers.What do you mean exactly?
Ignore this phone and buy a s7
1)A better dual pixel camera
2)A better processor
3)Much better official and unofficial software support.
Plus you save 100 dollars.
S9+ = dual cam
S9 = single cam
S9+ = f1.4
S9+ = bottom bezel shorter
S9= bezel same of S8
Anonymous, 09 Jan 2018Nobody going to buy these. nope. samsung sold a lot of phones every year. they never failed, except during note 7 fiasco
I don't get the mentality of some people here...
When the spec say 18:9 or 18.5:9 apsect, it labeled as bezelless while classic 16:9 suddenly become bezelicious even though they have the same stb and bezel amount
LOL! $600 for that Specs?!
If design doesn’t matter you should go with XA2 Ultra
geewaiho, 09 Jan 2018Apparently there won't be an a3 2018 as there might be a s8 mini. Oh, it feels like every year there are rumours of a mini version of that year's S-edition flagship, but nothing ever comes out. Very disappointing for those of us who'd like a tiny flagship.
Today, it seems like the only way to get a small Samsung is to go for phones like the J2/J3 which have rubbish specs for their price.
