Who would have tell that Vivo would be the first to achieve this. Not even the Samsung S9 will have this feature lol. Sammy what’s the matter with you?

Congrats vivo. That is quite an interesting piece of tech.
IMO for the good of customers, its better that its not always say sammy or apple to be the first in new things as it creates more competition. Sony is a special case... the marketing is non existent so doesnt shake the market when it comes up with something new xD

As the other guy mentioned, vivo product is just to test the waters. After that Synaptics/Samsung/Apple will use the perfected product in their year end flagships. Samsung/Apple may have had some reservations about this tech and vivo became a medium to overcome those. Testing this tech in vivo products is lot easier than doing on Samsung/Apple flagships.

I am sure that this ... moreOkay I got it but to me it does sound like Vivo is being discriminated. Having Vivo to be the starting part, only to help Samsung and Apple to make a better one.

They shouldn't have had this technology instead, or maybe let all OEMs use it so that at least one of them could improve it.

I thought vivo X20 is upper midranger, while Xplay series are vivo's flagship line?
