In his world any feature not found in an aPple product is in the range of superfluous to ridiculous.
On the other hand anything with the infamous logo on it is a God sent gift to mankind of innovation that no one can live without...

Why so negative about the keyboard mod @GSMARENA? It's a successful crowdsourcing campaign and it's a very interesting mod for everyone who wants (or has) to write longer texts. Great thing about it: If you don't need it, just take it off and everythings fine. :)

Those that want a device primarily for gaming is likely to be among the most demanding users, thus they need it as powerful as they can get it.
They could have called it something like "Youth" to signal that it is a more sturdy model and on a budget.
I got a BB Priv, also with a 600 series cpu, and it is quite good for most thing, but sure it is not designed for heavy using (and this is just fine for my usage pattern)

I currently own a Z2 Play and it is a solid device. Moto was able to get a lot of performance out of this SD 626 it is running on. Only got it because the price was right and I was disappointed with flagships last year. I'm thinking the Z3 Play will have a much better processor, making it worth people's money. I want the keyboard mod.

I'm SO much in doubt if it is going to be the Z2 Force or the Z2 Play. I would HATE to support any product that removes the 3.5mm jack!! On the other hand the Play is clearly a mediocre version of the same (And to be fair to roughly half the price)
Perhaps I will buy one of the old (now relatively cheap) Z(1) models, to simple test the whole combo in real usage.
...But most likely I will end up buying the Z2 force and curse them for the need of carrying a (£1) split dongle along with me!! - there is ZERO chance of me using a BT headset...

Well in your aPple universe perhaps. In mine that one is TOTALLY uninteresting, I would not even use if someone gave this overpriced thing to me, it would go directly to ebay...
On the other hand the landscape slider is VERY interesting, and what I have been waiting for, for years!! Actually since my SE Xperia (Neo) Pro
(I already long ago order both the version with and without a battery extension at the Indiegogo campaign)

Slideout keyboard is way more interesting IMO.
We've had plenty of health monitors in the recent past, but not many sliders recently.

Actually im more interested in the slide out keyboard. Given that samsung made the clip on keyboard for the s6 s7 I would like to see the same for my n8.
