This is true for peformance because i got a first gen iPad mini replaced by Apple and as soon as i updated it from ios 7 to 8 it was much slower than what it previously which is quite disapointing considering it was a brand new iPad.

Android have split screen but it is not very useful why? Small screen(is your answer)
In 6 inches smartphone you can't have good multitasking just imagine that run windows 7 or 8 on your fablet ? It is small for that.
It is smartphone it is not PC or laptop ....
All other os you said is rubbish, Ubuntu just is horrible luncher with some apps and sailfish is emulating android and android is emulator for running android apps...
The best os for developers is ios.just try same apps and you can see ..
Android and iOS have best experience on smartphone and very good multitasking that can do on smartphone up 6.5 inch
iOS on iPhone x is best in every aspects like multitasking and gesture for one hand using.

Fact is, iOS and android haven't even been able to figure out live, full multi tasking yet. You can't even play a youtube video in the background.

So iPhone shutdowns in thirst place is normal???? It is horrible failure in battery design or in a CPU voltage or whatever, but phone shutdown randomly because of increased strain on CPU should not happen on any phone! Never happened to my Android phones since first one from 2011. It is a massive failure and it should be admitted by Apple, in other case IPad as mentioned definitely not affected. I have Apple Air 2 since it launch 2014 November, and it was abused badly by my daughter over the years. Surprisingly battery still holds as new And performance wise, as I checked yesterday, nothing change. That was the reason I took IPad in first place, Android tablets was they behind iPad greatness, it definitely proofed itself, but looking at the Apple over all this years, iPad air 2 will probably will be last Apple product I ever owned, cause they are crooks and never admit their failures

Amazing what android device in 2013 get noghat or Oreo ...
For example my speed in my car(iPhone 6) is 300km/h and I slowing down to 250km/h it is very fast enough to get arrived to my job in time.but android no slowing but is it fast enough to get arrived? noooooooo!
I don't have any slowing down in my iPhone 6....and I am in iOS 11.2.......

Greedy Apple making billions on the expense of users. My last Apple product is the iPad Mini 2 that I bought three years ago. Will not update in the future and will never buy Apple products again.

That worm bitten brand desevrves nothing apart a 100% customers leaving it worldvide.
Not only they are almost most expensive phone brand but htey acts like gods who cant do anything they like even slow batteries on their devices so the customers will buy new ones.
Because making new phones is costly for them despite their labourers in china gets only crumbles but apple CEO, MUST KEEP THEIR EXPENSIVE LIFE STYLE NO MATTER WHAT.
And this was only possible option.
You apple followers should be only happy that this truth were revealed othervise apple could play dirty poker game with you forever.

I would really doubt the ethics and ethos of Apple after this mis-trust which was aimed at driving the customers to upgrade their devices.
