You didn't read my original comment. So I'm goint to rewrite it.
No , it has less! It curves the screen to achieve the high BtS ratio, curved screen cannot be used, it's a only a tiny bit better than actually having a bezel. By contrast iPhone X has a notch on the center of the notification area WHICH IS NEVER USED.
To conclude, one seems to have a larger usable area but actually has (far) smaller; the other seems to have a smaller usable are (due to the notch) but actually doesn't (the notch area is almost never used by the apps). Now , who's running the scam?

It's the *least* functional Note produced ever. Every Note was a gem, Note 8 is forgettable...
It's a Note , it has to be wide, not tall, it has to have removable battery, not sealed and small , it should have all the functions that old Notes had for the Pro crowd and this one removed.

Again, you didn't read my comment. Just because a name announces a function doesn't mean that said function can be completed. Face Unlock is usable only where 3D identification is possible. This has been known for years amongst security professionals which is why most doors still have fingepring ID (hard to do accurate 3D scanning). So no, it has not been available, it hardly is in iPhone X but at least it tries.
I used the example of resistive screens for a reason. "Touch screens " were avaialbe for years too, nobody used them for a reason though, they were unusable as is "Faceu nlock without 3D scanning". It's a non-feature, like most Samsung's "features".
Again, you have to understand that Samsung has banished genuine features lately and replaced them with gimmicks. IR, Removable battery, front facing fingerprint Scanning, a wide screen ... all gone. Note 8 is a feature desert.

Again, same argument as above. None of those can be done. Androids are very weak, at least two generations behind Apple in raw power. The capacity to do them is there. To have them be actually usable in a high end fucntion not even close. They sadly played Qualcomm's monopoly game (a technically useless company).
My car can technically fly if I attach wings on it. It never will though (practically so), because it would always lack velocity among other things.

All included on iphone X, only some included on androids (no face unlock for example, as it is unusable wt 3D scanning, no high screen to body ratio because they insist on putting hats and chins to their phones, curvature only makes things even worse).
I don't care about the Past BTW. I said iPhone *X* shames all android phones, not iphone 8 or iphone 7 ... the past is irrelevant. In 2017 most androids decided to defraud its users (same amount or ram/processing power, often worse battery life, certainly worse unlocking, less wide screens), some went along with it; I simply state that Apple used 2017 to make their greatest upgrade ever leaving androids in its dust (in the process). Nothing more, nothing less.
Unless androids get back in being feature rich (in a genuine manner) and kill Qualcomm dependancy, I suspect they would always be beat by future iphones ... very much not the case up until 2016 ...

One the Samsung only has a few mm more top and bottom; two it does not have the notch which takes out a chunk of display area, three overall taking all bezels into account it has a better screen to body ratio and larger screen area than the X. The latter is what really matters. I do not need good eyesight for that just measure or look up the measurement.
As an iPhone fan you would never admit any feature is good unless (or until) it is on an iPhone. By far the consensus is the curved edges on the Note make it a great looking phone.
"Samsung is all looks no brains." The Note 8 is the most fully features functional phone of them all. iPhones are all way behind its Android peers in functionality and forever in a state of catch-up. So how can you say that Samsung phones have n brains. What a moronic thing to say.
It is users that matter, not the odd professional that might need standard colours. For those type of users PC's and maybe tablets to a limited degree it may be important, but we are talking about phones.

Face unlock has been around for years and working very well for the use it was put there for. It has also been around in various forms like Microsoft Hello an excellent solution I use every day and iris scanning that is far more foolproof than Apples attempt. They got rid of one perfectly acceptable and faster method of unlocking a phone and just replaced it with another, others have provided both that provides the best of both solutions, with no ugly notch necessary!
AR, VR, Instagram Filters are already being used on Android phones and have been for some time. Phone longevity, well iPhones are bottom of that list especially the X, the most fragile iPhone ever with built-in obsolescence just like all the other iPhones that are on sale! So yes you can go on, but you have yet to start!

I am realistic, I agree no functioning, commercialized phone has gone full screen yet, but Android phones have certainly led the race to get there with Apple last among the main OEMs. Depth sensing ID is not a first for Apple on a phone. Apple was not first with depth sensing on a phone/tablet/computer, Windows Hello has been around for years, for example. As for desktop level performance, that maybe in theory, but in practice it is not necessary on phones and actually iPhones are struggling to match its peers in many areas of phone use, so that's just a marketing ploy on Apples part. Considering that so-called desktop performance will be throttled back as the batteries of the iPhone cannot cope very, there really is little to boast about on speed.

Why wouldn't you pay money for product which you love and use hours every single day, puttig money for smartphones is propably easiest thing in the world because you really get lot of usage for that money and it makes your life so much easier.
Why would i buy crappy Android phone which would make me very insecure and bitter about Apple users who are fully enjoying their devices while sametime you guys spread your bad feeling all over web in random Apple news, just asking :) i've seen how bitter Android users are, so i can't understand why would i want to buy one too If it makes me very sad and insecure about my choice?
I bought iPhone X two months ago and very well spend money, couldn't be happier

IMO it's not even a debate btw. Having had used both for an extended period of time it's hard not to see which one is *clearly* better... there is a reason that vendors are selling S8 for almost nothing these days ... it's not a good phone and it does not sell, period.

You probably don't have eyes because top and bottom bezels are much bigger than 4mm (on Samsung)
While side bezels, while they're technically not there , that part of the screen is wasted space as one cannot use the screen there due to the curvature. It's basically Samsung's scammy away to increase the BtR ratio: Apple is opposite than that, the only bezel it has (the notch) is in the dead space of the notifcation area that is/was already going to waste, so basically it's a full screen phone. Also you've lost some weeks (you've probably been in a comma), most apps already support the full of X's screen, making it a much bigger screen than any Samsung's (even Note 8's as it lacks the useless curvature).
Samsung is all looks no brains.

You're confused, "mini kinect" on top of a phone not only was not there in the past, it was actually deemed impossible to ever come to a phone any time soon. "Face unlock" is a gimmick that existed for years and nobody used because of how bad it is/was. A bit like Resistive screens, yeah touch screens existed for years, they were useless. iPhone's capacitive screens made them of use, similar to face unlock. Another first for Apple that you artificially call "a last".

You're not paying attention. None of its main features is done by an android, literally none. What you say not only is it untrue, it's the opposite than true. It's so wrong that that it is the flipped version of reality.
Again, full-screen phone, depth ID, desktop level performance. All unprecedented on android and probably many years away...
