Will love, without Android. As high end feature phone instead of entry level smartphone. And this will be definitely a 4G enable phone, as there in no demand of 3G phones in India because of Reliance Jio.

I really hope HMD will still continue to produce keyboard feature phones! They are very useful and handy! Just to know, Asha phones used Nokia Series 40 O.S.. HMD should revive should replace Series 30+ with Series 40 again, at least for its feature/keyboard phones!

This is unrelated to this news in particular, but I really HMD Flobal uses Snapdragon 660 for one of their 2018 phones. Really under-utilized chipset imo, offers killer performance in Xiaomi Mi Note 3.

More related to the actual news, I really wish they wouldn't use crappy Mediatek's in future Asha's, but I reckon, when you are trying to bring under 100$ phones to market, Qualcomm is just too expensive. The unsuccessful Nokia X lineup of yesteryears did all have Snapdragon though, so I guess there's hope after all?

Lovely! Old name, new days. Hoping to see Asha series as another low-end smartphones.
