I wonder when will my S7 Edge get Oreo since even S8 is not done with beta, yet the HTC 10 a 2016 phone is getting it.

It's a 1.5 years old device, and it still received an official Oreo build before Note 8 did. Heck, it's even faster than Essential Phone, that is running on stock Android.
I admire how HTC is still doing the right thing even though everyone knows they are bleeding cash by the minute. Hopefully they will bounce back soon.
