Best future phone company...good
Hmm, SD 652 is more powerful than 625/630, but it's built on 28nm fab archtiecture. SD 652 was used in 2016 phones like the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016). The SD 660 should have been used, considering that even the SD 670 is right around the corner.
The large battery is nice, but the lack of the 3.5 mm jack is not....

Snapdragon 630 still only uses 8 A53 cores. Raw power, SD652 wins, but there are many other details to consider, such as wifi speed, bluetooth versions, maximum LTE speed, RAM speed, storage, image processing, resolution support etc. Go compare on Qualcomm's website. Also, energy efficiency is definitely worse here on SD652.

At the same or a lower cost.
No surprise that HTC is in bad economic shape.

Not everyone needs the fastest newest Snapdragon processor, form and style are sometimes just as important!
If this is priced at £399 then it will be the biggest screen and most modern looking phone in the mid-range sector.
So stop your bashing and praise HTC for bringing a jewel to the mid-range sector that is totally desirable.

That red color, hope it's like solar red on the U11. Beautiful!
Reminds us of the HTC 10 EVO that uses a SD810 last year.
Edit, just saw many comments about GIGANTIC bezels. Really? Those bezels are at most half of what previous HTC's had. I guess people want a pure LCD (>95% screen to body ratio) as a phone these days.
Look at that hat and chin ... in this day and age you cannot have such GIANT bezels...
Ridiculous name and pricing. Just go away already, HTC, quit embarrassing yourself.
