For Daily Purposes it i... moreNo it is not, my phone has 4GB RAM i still feel is lag & slow, you should try 6GB or even 8GB phone then you come back & talk 4GB is enough, 4GB load damn slow, only 2017 low mid-range uses 4GB.
Now even mid-range like Oppo F5 give 6GB.

I think 4 GB of RAM is a bad move, as many people have said the difference 6 GB makes on the Note 8 is quite noticeable. I think the heavy skin means the phone suffers with less than 6 GB. With many Chinese companies now bringing 6 GB or more, it seems like Samsung are opening the door for them to take market share. Maybe that is deliberate, it certainly seems so, or maybe it's a misjudgement. Samsung are just dragging out these poor specs, and keeping better tech on the shelf for the future, but Chinese companies are pushing on with higher specs. When the S9 launches, the S8 will become even cheaper which makes it a better deal. Samsung's can only make this work if the S9 is the same price or even cheaper than the S8 was at launch. A price hike means it won't sell that well, and I see their share of the market dropping.

Samsung already has FPS and Iris recognition. If any i would want them to improve upon these two, there is no need to add half-baked features.

Fake or not I really do think peoples expectations for phones now is getting ridiculous, to many people expecting everything and anything to be put in phones now and if it doesn't have it its considered a fail. someone actually said that the design is going to look dated, are you serious?

one doesnt need to "contribute to the evolution of smartphones" to want a new feature.
and samsung is not doing a favor to anyone by making smartphones, they do it coz they get billions of dollars of profit.
if a person is going to spend a premium price every year to get a flagship then its very reasonable to ask for new features to justify the prices.
by your logic only the people who can make a smartphone should use a smartphone.

i own a Note8 and i wont upgrade until Note10 comes out as samsung puts their everything to make note the best of the year but for S series, they take it easy coz of less competition (huawei and Lg only) but note always clashes with iphone,pixel,mate,Lg V, oneplus T series, MiX etc. so they give their everything to make it to top 3 list of the year
