Nevee understood the "safery argument" (a xase you protects you beeter all the while keeping your phone quite smaller than Sony's)
I'm overall impressed. If this is what they can offer for their mid-tier phones (that competes with the likes of Samsung and Huawei just fine) I am really looking forward to their flagship this year.
Sony has a class....now they have all..performance, camera, great build with up-to-date software in a budget. I'm not caring about trendy things like bezels, portrait mode etc.
Anonymous, 14 Jan 2018Sony is becoming a joke in the smartphone world. May as well go all out on low spec phones ... moreThe A series is overpriced.

To everyone hating on the XA2's bezels, this is a mid-range device with smaller bezels that the Galaxy S7, which was known to have small bezels during it's time. To hate on this you are essentially shitting on the design of every flagship before 2017...
I am a bit of a reckless person and I have dropped my SONY phone more than 10 times in its lifetime already, and those bezels that some people hate saved my screen from being damaged, so I don't mind a fat bezel so long as it saves my screen from cracking.

I am happy fast and stable update and qnovo battery.
I cant live like s8 & note 8 with oldies QC 2.0, even xiaomi did better
I'm glad they've kept the bezels.

Absolutely stunning, very close to perfection and still remains as my favorite phone when it comes to design. Even though it's an old model now.
Hey Sony!
You have the same old boring designs full of top and bottom bezels. Not so future / 2018 gadgets.
Anonymous, 14 Jan 2018Might get the L2, if the build quality's decent. I no longer REALLY look for great specs, as m... moreThese are all metal build phones. I bet Sony will make these phones affordable. The XA series of last year were reasonably priced.
AnonD-234961, 14 Jan 2018With those huge bezels, still nope. But one positive thing: battery size is finally on par ... moreThe advantage of Sony not making their phones in full view display just yet is because they will still look familiar in the smartphone industry. The phones that have full view display already look the same! Unless you look at the back then that's the time you will recognize the brand of the phone you have been looking at.
"None of these", obviously. :-)
I don't carry a purse so the bezels don't bother me. It looks kind of like a phone instead of just another glass slab, much better than needing to notch part of your brain out to go with a poor design trend. The specs and focused use cases on these three are all pretty sleepy though. Front facing stereo speakers can put you ahead of the competition in some ways, but if all you focus on is being a camera, how are you convincing someone to not just buy some better dedicated camera?
I wait for the flagship
Anonymous, 14 Jan 2018It is 75%. Stop telling lies.. Also SBR is on par with newly announced Galaxy A8
2011 design
