Anonymous, 13 Jan 2018Your shiny XZ Premium has been defeated by old iPhone 7.Lmfao! That's a good one
My iPhone 7 plus Geekbench score was 13226.
My AnTuTu score was 19426.
Almost scored more than iPhone 8 plus.
anonymous, 13 Jan 2018probably a bad battery, or poor optimization of the early patchYeah, probably.
Anonymous, 13 Jan 2018Your shiny XZ Premium has been defeated by old iPhone 7.Don't lie. Go and watch speed test yourself.
Anonymous, 13 Jan 2018İphone 4 slowed down after ios 7 but still faster than android.Ok!!! So oneplus 5t or xperia xz premium are faster than iphone 4,4s,5,5s,5c,6,6plus,6s,6splus,se,7,7plus,7plus red edition,8,8plus,10 or x, 8s,8splus,x1,etc...
Made a test whit Iphone SE 64gb. At IOS 11.1.2 AnTuTu was 123994 and at IOS 11.2.2 124783 so it is better.
"We couldn't find a pre-update iPhone 6s, so we're not sure when a vital CPU upgrade occurred to make the Spectre and Meltdown patches a non-issue."
Nothing occurred, there is no performance hit on the iPhone 6 either. I get the same score before and after the patch on my old iPhone 6.
We did a test run with an iPhone SE, and benchmarks improved after the update.

TheImpaler, 13 Jan 2018Except in sales 😂Yes. Sony didn't beat others in an aspect where no consumers are interested in.
I think that new Antutu score of 213K is a record, right?
SinaMorovati, 13 Jan 2018What's up with iPhone 6 then?probably a bad battery, or poor optimization of the early patch
Roy-86, 13 Jan 2018iPhone 7 is 2 generations old already! Would you care to name those generations? You're right, 2 generations is a bit misleading. My point was that this isn't an issue that remains to be solved, but rather something that was solved a while ago.
FreezeGame, 13 Jan 2018Dumbphones posing as smartphones, functioning on a closed, limited ecosystem. Such a waste. Most people (95% people) never use the 'smart' features that some of us do.Proof is just how much craze was generated because of a background blur photo effect or as it's called portrait mode.It is essentially useless and could have been done even on a decade old phone with some software tricks. But look at the craze over it which will soon fade away but if you still don't get my point then in simple language:in the past Nokia succeeded because of its user friendliness and not because it had better features, similarly Apple is today's Nokia i.e it's user friendly for dumb people.
"Long story short thereÂÂ’s little change. The processor performance suffers a minimal loss in performance, too small to notice. RAM speed seems unaffected (both Spectre and Meltdown exploit the CPU cache, so slower RAM access is one of the possible issues when patched)."
This applies to iPhone 6 too and all other iPhones. there's lot of videos in YouTube showing that, yet one guy got big drop in scores is reported everywhere and it didn't had anything to do with Spectre update.
