Plot twist; scroogle doing loads of data mining, it overwhelmed the router.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's actually what's going on. Never letting any of these 24/7 listening spyware speakers in my home...

This also happens with Amazon's Alexa, and my Lenovo laptop. I never was able to fix Alexa. Laptop was fixed by using a USB wifi stick, and disabling the Qualcomm hardware. It's a problem more common than you'd think.

The Android Nougat developer previews had a similar issue on Nexus phones. Wouldn't surprise me if they ended up reusing the same old bad code.

WiFi hammer 100% legal. Take that to an airport or public hotspot for maximum experience

Last, Google products had extensive problems. This year their problems have become contagious and have started bricking nearby devices also.....SMH!

A hidden feature that can cripple WiFi networks on a massive scale is mistakenly activated sporadically! Using denial of service attack right in your home and with equipment trusted from Google

"Google" .. should add tag line to their company ... "Fixing on known issues" .. shame on them. so many issues on almost all of their products.
