Nokia 6 : SD430 chipset (28nm)
Xperia xa2: SD650 Chipset (16nm)
16nm means less power consumption than 28nm chipset based phones.

But the flagship is where ... moreDo agree the flagships of the past years were not stellar from Sony with only marginal upgrades on previous iterations. it just makes consumers think: why am i buying this for apart from the processing chip upgrade.
Regarding design language, you can easily distinguish which ones are sony just by looking at it but they all look too similar to each other and for too long (apart from XA lineup). Quite happy that will be revamped this year with "mirai". consumers who arent techies would note the difference and feel they arent buying the same ole phone from 2014. touch wood it wont disappoint.

Front camera of Ultra has same size of rear cam of Pixel 2.
It cant be fit in a bezel like S8.

But the flagship is where the real competition is going to happen and i don't think sony can stack up against samsung.
